Finally!!You have the privilege and the possibility to enjoy the last album of my favourite Croatian band.We already had Hope on this blog,and you know they play old school Thrash Metal at his best,with Christian topics.I told for every album they recorded that is their best,which is pretty logical,because every band have a progress from album to album.But I will repeat this time,Hope recorded and released their best album,an excellent piece of Thrash Metal (if you ask me,there is some Kreator influence-maybe it`s the vocal,reminds a lot of Mille`s vocal) greatly structured,and with a very strong production,cleaner than on the previous albums,but still preserving the aggressivity of the sound.The lyrics are about Christianity,which fits me and will fit anyone with such personal choice.
So,this is the exclusivity for all of you,I would like to express my gratefullness and thanx to Mika,God bless you mate.As for all of you interested in this one,I wish you many,many headbanging hours..

Here`s a fine rare EP by the legendary Stenches I have found on the net.These three tracks are obviously from the "Been caught buttering" recording session,only the last found place on the album,while the other two tracks are tracks you can find on compilations,but here they are all together here on this EP.Extreme as they were back then..I am very nostalgic about those times,so I recommend you this rare one.

I still have this vinyl..a very strange band. Extreme, yet strange. Now, can you imagine a pretty distorted and fast Thrash Metal played with Electronic Drumpads? That is what we are about here; Morsure sounds interesting, but my problem was always make a difference between the sound of the snare and the bass drum (?!?) so this one comes out almost as Grindcore (just kidding,of course..)..Try it, or collect it if you collect old Thrash releases..

This one is a very nice very melodic Speed Metal from Slovenia.An excellent band I would compare with early Helloween,very skillful on their instruments with very interesting tracks.Originally released as a cassette,this one is re-released on vinyl last year.Until you find the vinyl,here is an excellent copy you can taste.Thanx to Jurica for this one!

Now figure it out..I laughed my jaw off when I first listened to these mash-ups..The adress in the title is the adress of the site where you can find all the seven mash-ups somebody did.I send congratulations to the guy who did this,it is no problem to do such things,but I think it takes some time,and I don`t have one,so this things are not to be gotten serious,but just to have some fun.Things are the following;somebody took the musical parts of a band and added to it the vocals from another,here we have combinations of Metal bands and mainstream vocals.My absolute favourites are the Napalm Death and Carcass mash-ups.Enjoy this one and I hope you`ll have fun just as I did.

BOSKO I BUHE (Cro) - Demo 1992

A request from Kktz of Corpus Delicti blog.This band is made partly of former Mentalni Nered members.I got this (and lots more goodies!!) from Vladimir,and I wish to thank him a lot for this,we`ll have a drink (well,more than one..) when I come to Pula next time.
Bosko I Buhe is actually a project that lasted for few years,a fun punk band but but playing full blooded Punk.They played in two different line-ups,with Dragec on guitar/vocals all the time,but with Vladimir and Zombi switching on bass and drums.Here Vladimir plays drums on trax 1-6,and bass on tracks 7-10.Zombi,obviously,played the other way.
Great stuff here.

Of course you recognized the guy in the middle,definitely the most hyperactive guy in the metal scene EVER (he was and/or is member of 15 bands!!) and a great friend and musician,Danny Lilker.Well,this is the band he is mostly concentrated on the last few years (besides Brutal Truth),a technically interesting mixture of various metal styles,defined on the net as Black Metal,but for my opinion not even close to it.You have to try it to decipher what is it.I am not discovering hot water with this one,this demo is on their site for free download,but I put it here just to make the things easier for you.This is the first post I will describe only with the word Metal,because I don`t want to make a mistake here..

Before I start this post,a warning;I will be slow next few days,I ran out of bandwidth so I have to be extremely careful.Don`t worry,from Friday February 1st we go full power again..
Now about this band.I found this demo on a very old tape,transferred it into mp3,I am sorry it is a bit down with the sound,but still pretty listeneable.What we got here is finnish Thrash in pure S.O.B.(vein)!!
Few things about them I have found;the vocalist on this recording,Kalle is dead.They played until 1992,then split until 1998.They are still playing.Extreme to the bone.

This cassette is a nice compilation of Croatian Crust-HC bands;we got here Fight Back,the well-known-to-you Dislike,Starvation and Apatridi.Those last have the best quality recording,and I think (or at least it sounds to me) Fight Back and Dislike did their recordings in the same rehearsal room and same equipment (and Gera confirmed,it goes for Starvation too)..anyway,a great compilation showing that Croatia have great bands that can compete with any other from any part of the world.

LIZATORI PIZDERE (Cro) - various recordings from the 90s

After their reunion concert in December 2007,I had few requests for their stuff,as well as for this band`s alter ego Brijacina Kojona,so here it is.The band is made of members of Desinence Mortification and Aeon.This is a bunch of recordings made in their rehearsal room at some point of their existence,all very good recordings and recorded probably daily in some time period (ie;a week or a month).I don`t know exactly the year of the recording,but I really don`t think it can bother someone..For all those who understand Croatian (and well,it is a very distorted Croatian with some phrases invented by the band themselves,so..) it might be fun,for others this is an undefined kind of music,and simoultaneously it is a lot of kinds of music all in one.And one more thing;in some songs there are 2-3 songs I may not wrote the titles..Anyway,fun for those who understand..

MESSIAH (Swi) - Hymn to Abramelin , lp 1986

Another great album here,this one is Messiah`s first and the better one of the two that were recorded in the original three-piece line-up.I remembered the cover in red,not black as this one,but this is the artwork.Messiah was and awesome live band,saw them live in Ljubljana with 1988 and probably never stage-dived again as that night..The album have great tracks,and much better production than the next one.The music is a harshy Thrash Metal,and when I mean harshy I mean played in a specifical Messiah-style.If you wonder what it could be,take this one.I am sure if you are fan of old school Euro Thrash,you won`t be disappointed.This album is a classic.

Well,here`s a band I really loved back at their first album,Piledriver.After reforming in 2005,they added "The Exalted" to the name,God only knows why they did it,I think it was so unnecessary,because there can be only ONE true piledriver.If you know the whole story beside this band,then you know that 20 years ago this band was just a project in someone`s mind and on the vinyl,but phisically they never existed.Well,the vocalist wanted to make it real,so he found himself a band of musicians,added to himself some kilos (mh,I know this feeling..) and changed the band`s name into TEP (now,thinking twice about it,it is probably done to avoid certain copyrights problems and stuff-sooo sad..).Anyway it was,here is a bunch of (new) tracks from this band,following exactly the same metal style as 20 years ago.The only bad thing is that TEP is prepairing the new album Metal Manifesto since 2005,and it is still not out..Let`s hope for it soon.Until then,here`s the demo!Enjoy!

A very nice EP that brings me back to the end of the 80s..Crossover from a Belgrade`s band,who,as much as I know did only this and then split-up.These three tracks are great stuff,I am sorry I can`t show you the cover,as soon as I find it you will have it here.

FEAR OF GOD (Swi) - Fribourg , 01.10.1988.

I waited this moment for too long..ladies and gentleman,here is the most ferocious and brutal record I have ever heard!!Actually,it is the "more listeneable" side of the 12inch mini LP called "As statues fell" (I scanned two details from the beautiful cover).This blowed me and anyone who was near me (read;members of Leukkemiaa) fucking away as a nuclear explosion!!I am not exaggerating,try and you`ll find here the most exciting noise you have ever heard!!FOG are noisy,messy,but simply enormously great!Plus,this version I put here contains more songs than on the vinyl (this version is found on the net,I think as part of a kind of "Anthology" album)!!You must have this.Throw it away if you won`t like it,but I assure you if you like extreme music..this is definitely IT!This is undoubtely one of my best records of all the times!
PS;I had problems with guessing what is the third song here as there is two names of two songs there;Thy Beauty and Troublemaker-but I listened to Troublemaker on other releases,and it is not it..but I am still unsure..

ATOMSKO SKLONISTE (Cro) - Mentalna higijena , lp 1982

As you noticed from the previous post,this Friday was the 21st anniversary of Atomsko Skloniste`s singer Sergio Blazic-Djoser,so I put this album here now,as the most succesful album of the band,to remember Djoser.This album is among the three albums that sold most copies in the ex-Yu (the other two were Motori by Divlje Jagode,and Mrtva Priroda by Riblja Corba-without counting Bijelo Dugme`s albums).I remember the promo show for this album in Pula`s rock club Uljanik,I was in the front row,almost trampled to death,but proud to be there (notice;I was 13!)..
This album contains their two anthologic hits;Treba Imat Dusu and Zuti Kisobran.
