KILLING FEELING (Cro) - Powerfest 93 , Pula , 01.05.1993.

I don`t know much about this and the next band,except that they have a tape released through Slusaj Najglasnije rec.But I have to say that I like this band very much,especially the vocal.I can`t really compare them to any band,but I recommend this recording.This is again a very rare recording that will please fans of Croatian Metal.
PS:the sound at the beginning of the first track is bad,but only the first minute.This is a very good soundboard recording.

This is weird stuff.This is one of those bands,you love them or you hate them.I haven`t spent a lot of time with this,but from what I heard,seems like interesting good music with lyrics on Serbian.And the lyrics..oh,the lyrics are another story..funny for the ones who understand the language,meaningless to the ones who don`t..If you collect ex-YU territory`s Metal..
PS;and oh yeah,I found on some places written that the tape is released in the year 2002,so if you care..I don`t.

POPEYE (Cro) - demo 2005

You already know Popeye from Pula/Vodnjan,the band that is probably the leading band in it`s Metal expression in Croatia.After they remained as a classic band (without the percussionist and the DJ) they turned their music into a harder way of playing.After the first album (very soon here) where they were slightly softened by the production,the guitar is out again in its full power.Don`t be confused by the first,acoustic track,it is a track made on purpose,the band called it an anti-EU song..

SADUS (USA) - Death to posers , demo 1986

I think that Sadus are one of the first Thrash Metal bands that went that "one step" over the boundaries of speed in the mid 80s Thrash wave.And,what I dig most is the fact that they have one of the most talented Metal bassist in the world,Steve DiGiorgio (ex-Autopsy,Sebastian Bach and Friends,Artension,ex-Control Denied, Dark Hall,ex-Death,ex-Dragonlord,Funeral,ex-Iced Earth,Suicide Shift,ex James Murphy,Quo Vadis,Testament,Vintersorg) (this guy played in half world`s Metal bands!!So bad he never played in mine....)..Well,this demo contains really great Thrash Metal,if you`re a Thrash fan,you cannot miss this one...

Oh,yes,I like this one.It is stuff sent to this blog from Adrian,from UK,and I thank him very much.This is very "Rocking" stuff,and if you like Motley Crue,Skid Row,early Guns `n` Roses or similiar bands,man I can tell you this is stuff for you.This band is becoming bigger and bigger,and who knows,maybe they`re the band who will replace Motley Crue on the world`s scene.Meanwhile,enjoy this EP.And play it fucking loud!!

ZYKLOME A (Bel) - Made in Belgium , lp 1984

Another album I adored since the very first listening.This band from Belgium is one of my all time favourites,and this album (the only long player I know they released) is a collection of 16 mostly fast mid 80s EuroHardcore bullets with a very good clean production.And thank God for internet,where you can find things you always wanted to have (come on,you know I am talking about music!)..RECOMMENDED!
PS;Take a look at the country the little fellow is pissing on..it is probably Belgium,but the shape reminds me of a country that doesn`t exist anymore..guess what country..

GORTHAUR`S WRATH (Cro) - Ancient darkness , demo 2000

Ok,who says that Croatia don`t have a proper Black Metal band,of the "highest" level?GW are from Rijeka,a city who have a pretty good Metal scene (we already had here Dr Steel and Arisse) and some bands actually very popular bands in Europe (Ashes You Leave and Father).
GW are one of the oldest BM bands from these territories,and on this demo they sound a bit like early Emperor (ok,I am not a BM fan,so I am not so precise in comparing),so for all the fans of extreme BM,enjoy.

Another band from Pula,lasted maybe just a year,but was significant for the Thrash scene in Pula.They didn`t even recorded any demo,just few rehearsals,and maybe a live recording.All the members later continued with playing,3 out of four played later in Hatross (not contemporarly).CC were a band that played a very simple Thrash/Hardcore,and this recording is pretty fair.I have another one rehearsal,which will be uploaded very soon.I know that some metalheads from Pula will be surprised with this,so here`s a part of Pula`s history.

I adore this album.This Czech band is absolutely incredible,aggressive and virtuose at the same moment.They combine Hardcore Punk,Jazz,Alternative music in one exciting mix,with a perfect sound recording.The whole album is sang on Czech,but this adds just a plus to their insane magic.I recommend,you decide.

This band from Split is becoming very popular in Croatia,after years and years of pushing through the scene.They play a kind of Thrash-Punk,I would call it this way,and it sounds very good.This is their first demo from 1996,and if you like it hang on there,there`ll be more.

And,after the first album and a live recording,here we go with their second album.This album was released in 1991,and was actually a swansong for the band.On this album you can truly hear why the band was called the Croatian version of Judas Priest..try it.The sound here is not of the very best (not the recording,but the copy I got here,as downloaded from the net),but still is a good sounding sample of what Dr Steel did on this second album.And a fact to be pointed out;half album is in Croatian language,and the second half on English.

I think this one is also a tape that layed unused all this years,and I think even Hrvoje don`t have it (Hey,HK,let me know!).It is a soundboard recording,the only thing that lacks is that the drums and the vocal even I liked Ljubo as vocalist) are louder than the guitars,I`d like the guitars to be louder,but what the hell...It is important to have a document of a time,I suppose.And this one is DS at the top of their thrashing,featured at the Powerfest 93.
I know that there are many of you that will drool about it as you did for Kain or Arisse,so help yourself!

CARCASS (UK) - Death `n` Roll , Firenze , Italy , 27.01.1994.

For you this one can be only another one Carcass bootleg,but for me,believe me,is much more..It is a document of a show I attended in 1994..My band Hatross+Rio from (at the time) Aeon went all the way to Firenze to see this gig,I could never imagine that it will be released as a CD bootleg..It means a lot to me,because it reminds me how great and simple were/are the guys from Carcass..We had an unforgettable evening with them,but,most important,it is recorded on this CD!!If you listen the end of track 9/the announcement for Corporeal Jigsore Quandary,you can hear Jeff saying "the next song is dedicated to Alex and Hatross from Croatia,who will travel tonight"..shall I say anything more???...
I know that the cover is very bad,even the tracks are mispelled,of course it is not my fault,but of the person who did it,but here are few pics we did that night...
