Maaaan,this band thrashed..and showed that the far east can have very competitive bands in Metal.Casbah were a great band,and this demo is a cult in the underground spheres.The band released a ton of releases including demos,ep`s and compilation cd`s,But this one is undoubtely the most known.Worth your attention!!
Gordi were,with Divlje Jagode and Pomoranca,one of the very first Heavy Metal bands in Yugoslavia.The way they switched overnight from a Jazz Rock/Hippie Rock band to a Heavy Metal band was very bizarre,but who cares (at least I don`t!),they gave us two great Heavy Metal album,and this was the first one!Very soon here also the second!
What can I say about it except that this is the demo that predecessed one of the best SPEED metal albums I have heard.And part of it is on this tape.Living Death were a band who connected perfectly traditional Judas Priest-ish/Saxon-ish Heavy Metal with the Speed and Thrash Metal that was becoming very popular at the time.So this demo can be good for both traditionalists or extremists.
I told Sale Veruda (guitarist,on the pic on your right) that this tape is my favourite from their opus,maybe it is an nostalgic line in it.This is the first live tape KUD Idijoti ever released,and their first ever official release.Released only as cassette (and that`s tooooo bad) this tape collects the essence of the early KUD Idijoti,pure melodic Punk Rock at his best,from the best Punk Rock band Yugoslavia ever had.
This is the second post with Carnivore stuff, so I won`t say much about it. Both demos are added to the remastered cd versions of their two albums. For all those who haven`t got those cd`s, here are the demos. I will upload soon also the second Carnivore album, as well as a pre-Carnivore single.
