Those guys sent me this demo, and I must admit that it contains a lot of goood good music with a very loud production. If I have to describe it, I would say it is some great Alternative Rock, with a lot of power here, so I really recommend this demo to those who wants to listen to some uplifting rocking stuff. And good news is that the guys have a lot of new stuff !! Bravo Italia.
Yeah !! Serbia gave us another great old school Thrashing band. Testator are one of many (and this fact is not bad at all !!) serbian Thrash Metal bands caring for the old school output. This is their first EP, released for the Nocturne Magazine series, and given to me from the band`s dudes directly. I enjoyed, so you do too !!
Well, I started receiving stuff from bands that want to be featured in this blog so let`s feature them one by one. This is a noisy split EP hailing from Russia, Skverna from Moscow and the LTP from Siberia. All this stuff is strictly for Noise lovers, with Skverna playing some Industrial Post-Hardcore Noise, and LTP playing only Noise, haha.. all in all, pretty stuff. And thanx to the LTP for the stuff !!
Now, this is a cool band, coming from NYC, this is the new band of my friend Joe Cangelosi (ex-Whiplash, ex-Kreator). The band is playing pure aggressive Thrash Metal mixed with some Punk and Hardcore feeling, the perfect thing if you ask me. These are demo tracks layed down in the past year, but as the line-up is now stabile, expect a full blooded CD very soon !!
I received this stuff from my friend Enrico. Controsigillo is a cool modern Thrash band representing italian Metal at his best. Great strong Metal with excellent production. Recommended.
I am continuing this blog with probably the best old school Thrash Metal band in Croatia. Descender comes from the capital town of Zagreb, and after few years of playing and rehearsing, they recorded their first proper album CD. I am witness of the long long recording and production process, but finally, the wait is worth every millisecond. I could give the highest vote for this release, but I won`t.

I am continuing now on a blog I already told you about, it is a blog about the scene from Pula, the city I lived the biggest part of my life, and a city with an enormous number of bands in its history since 1962 (the beginning of Rock music in Pula). On that blog, I want to collect ALL bands from the last 50 years, not an easy job at all, but surely a secure one, since I have permission for ALL the stuff you will find there. And there`s more; if I don`t own a permission for posting something, it will be marked with white letters, which means it is here just as a discography data, but not available for downloading.
All questions you asked in posts in Audioheaven will be answered one by one, just be patient....

This is one of the best comebacks of the year 2011. The Christian Thrash Metal band Amen played at the beginnings of the 90s, then stopped. Amen are here again, better than ever. The stuff is mid-tempo melodic Thrash Metal, with an excellent production. They made it perfectly this time, so let`s hope for some new stuff from Amen in 2012.
Ok, so this is the new year.. we`ll see what will it bring. Some says this one is our last, but all they can do is suck my ass (some heavy rhyme is goin` on, right?).. Ok, let`s talk business now. I am absent for some time, because I decided to reactivate my other blog PULAROCKCITY and so I have to checkall the links, and reupload and blah blah blah.. you know what is all about. Allright, here is the new release from the Grind masters from Pula, Bolesno Grinje !! I got it yesterday from both Jule (guitar) and Hoc (bass), and posting it straight on ! This album is an AWESOME release, balancing through Grindcore, Crust, and the most furious and insane Death Metal. This is the first release after their drummer Rio left them (actually, as far as I know, he left all the bands he played with and went Techno-DJing..), and with the new drummer Luze. The pace is still very fast and very loud, and if you like the fact of 15 songs in 25 minutes (but actually it`s 14 songs in 21 minutes, as the last song is some kind of noise), then you should download this album right away! To be fair to the band, I will put two links for download, one is mine, and the second one will be theirs, where you can download the album with a small amount of money, helping that way the band in releasing a vinyl of this album (but you can also write 0 euros and download it anyway). ENJOY THIS FUCKER !!!
I loved this band back in the 90s. Actually, I loved only the period of this promo tape, their explosive live performances.. wow, what a band it was.. with their first album they kinda mellowed out, I didn`t accepted their semi-sell-out transformation, so I am putting here a great, and I mean GREAT Promo tape from 1996!!

Oracle Encounter is actually the return of Tomo, frontman of the now probably forever defunct Blockade Runner. Here we have a very modern way of expression, showing that Tomo is really far from quitting it all..
..A great recording (soundboard, of course) of the mk2 line-up of this once great Yugoslavian Hard Rock band.. the show is recorded in Zagreb in 1985, much before the goddamn war splitted Yugoslavia. A rare document of excellent quality, worth having it in your collection.
This is something by request, but something that anyway was waiting to be posted. In the 90s, Headbanger started as a pretty sloppy but very defined band, making very exciting shows (see the video). Later they raised their skill level much higher, but the music also became more mature. This is their first phase, and a very nice cassette !!
I received this mp3 album from my friends from Ostend Powers from Belgium. This is a full massive guitar riffs collection, the recording is at a very high level, and I will probably be very close if I compare them to Alice In Chains (but not completely, just in shades).. a reason more for you to get this!
Finally, the (momentarily) last live recording I have from Fear Of God, recorded in 1988 in an unknown location. The recording is more or less good and listeneable, but hey, this is FOG, do not ever expect an Iron Maiden production.....
And here we go to Russia and my friends from Welicoruss, who sent me this great EP, cool stuff with a rich orchestral production, stuff you will like if you like bands using symphonic elements in their Metal.
You know me, I am not into any kind of Black Metal, not even following anything about it, but I will always help any band from the ex-Yu territory to get more airplay and possible fans or listeners. And to be honest, there is absolutely no reason not to try them, excellent Pagan BM with a very good production, and with (something the band is probably very proud of) lyrics in Macedonian language (with a lyric sheet with translations in English). A very nice release. Try it.
