Now this is something I received from Darko..I don`t understand what means the title of the album,and neither the name of the band.But musically,this is great stuff,really.Old school Speed/Thrash with lyrics mainly about alcohol (I don`t like that kind of topic or humor about,but this is here for the music-and anyway,for you who don`t understand,it is overall great stuff!!).The production is very good,there are three covers (S.O.D.,Bombarder and Venom) done in their original way,so if you`re searching for good old school Metal stuff..

Ok,now,for the "something completely different" section,here is a good friend of mine.His name is Ranko Sajfar,he is from Djakovo,but lives in Pula more or less 6 years now,and in those six years the guy completely entered into the Pula`s musical scene,working with few bands and projects,and doing music by himself.This project is/was called Statik,it is Ranko`s one man band project,with a very little help by few persons,but everything is played sampled and done by Ranko himself.He is proposing here a kind of Etno/Ambiental music,very nice stuff for an easy listening.I will put more of his works,and most importantly his first band back from Djakovo,an interesting band called Kabir Bedi.But for the moment,if you are into chilling music,this one`s for you!And thank you,Ranko.

This is a really good release,and a nice vinyl rip.Assuck are known for their extremity,but in this EP they give us a spoken word piece entitled A Nation`s Tear,about the war in Yugoslavia,seen from outside.This track deserves the attention of us living in the ex-Yu territories,while the other tracks are a pretty good produced fast DeathGrind.For extreme maniacs.

A great album of pure fast Hardcore,from-of course-Pula,and featuring an active contributor of this blog,Vladimir as guitar player here..I am almost sure that Pula is the Croatian town with most Punk and Hardcore bands,and Pasmaters are one of them.The album shows a great display of very melodic and fast Hardcore,so if you are a fan of that kind,this is surely a must.
PS:Not to confound with the actual Hard Rock band Pasmaters from Split!!

Here is another Croatian Metal band totally unknown to me.I haven`t found no information about them anywhere,except for an old interview..I only know that they are Croatian and that they recorded this promo cd which should probably have been a proper release,but obviously something`s gone wrong..Well,the material is really excellent,it reminds me somehow of At The Gates,so you know that it must be good..

Yeah,here is another recording of my favourite Serbian band,the Thrashers from Space Eater.We already had here their album,now,thanx to Darko,here `s a live recording from a radio show in 2005.The sound is very good,and SE play as they should;strong and loud.These three tracks are a bit slower,but anyway a precious material.

KROSHE POETSKI (BiH) - In memorian , track 2008

Hmm..I found this "artist",singing a song dedicated to Tose Proeski,the hyper-popular Macedonian singer died last October in a car crash (Tose is on the cover of this promo).This guy says that if Biggie have a dedication,then Tose should have one too.Rapped on the same "Every breath you take" melody as the Biggie one,this guy sounds like a very drunk Lemmy out of tune,if you got the point.Anyway,it may be interesting to ex-Yu people who understand the language,to hear the lyrics.This guy have more stuff,so I will check if this one is a miss or his whole life is..
PS:one more thing I noticed,not only here:WHY SOME PEOPLE THINK THAT MEMORIAN IS WRITTEN CORRECTLY????????????

I have just one release of the late Atomsko Skloniste,two as Atomic Shelter,and two singles,and the Atomsko Skloniste discography is over.Of course,there won`t be no compilations (two of them released).This one is the first single,from their first album,the most known song from the first LP.The strange thing is that this single is released retrogradely,with the flipside from the second album (??),and as well,one of the most known songs from the second LP.But,AS were strange in some kind of expressions,so this is no wonder.Enjoy.

I`VE GOT AN ATTITUDE PROBLEM , International compilation EP 1987

7 excellent bands,11 excellent tracks!I remember when I got in touch with it,Sale from KUD Idijoti got it from somebody (I think it was from Belgrade,from Gvido O.) and lend me this fantastic EP..I remember he almost forgot about it..but he didn`t,damn it..I was sooo into this EP that I recorded it on several tapes separately,just to make sure I will not loose it.You know,the gods MOB 47 and in this case RAW POWER,the phenomenal Funeral Oration and Psycho and Wretched..Quod Massacre and S.Malfunctions are here with tracks for which I am sure they surely have much better tracks,but well,in a whole this is a hell of an EP!Highly recommended!

Now,with this one,you have them all.I mean,the Kud Idijoti`s EP`,you got all 4 of them.The first three were later released twice again,the first time as part of their first unofficial album "Bolivia Rock` N` Roll" (along with three songs from their 1986 demo),the second time on a compilation cd containing the three first unavailable and out of print EPs.KUD Idijoti are undoubtely the best Punk Rock band from this part of the world,and most important,the band that never weakened or changed their style.Get those legends from Pula.

I already had a post of this kind of music,and I remained extremely surprised when I saw that I am not the only one to like the Serbian Gypsy Music from Trumpet Orchestras,and even more,the previous post was among the most downloaded stuff on this blog!!!This is my favourite of all World Musics.So,this time we have ultimatively THE BEST OF THE BEST,the one and only Boban Markovic and his Trumpet Orchestra.Boban is acclaimed literally worldwide as the best worlds band of Gypsy music,and this cd is a kind of compilation of his early works.Recently,with The orchestra is called the Boban And Marko Markovic Orchestra,because his son Marko,also a trumpet virtuoso,joined his father in the band.If you liked the first cd+if you are no fucking nationalist+if you want to fill your drunken nights full of rakija with music for shake your body deliriously,this is what you need.Once you get hooked..
PS:This kind of music has its festival in a little west-serbian town called GUČA (read Goocha) by the beginning of August every year (this year is from Aug 6th to Aug 10th),it is 4-5 days of various orchestras playing this kind of music.There is also a movie called GUČA,released in 2006,and in the movie,of course,Marko Markovic is playing the leading role.I hope I will be able soon to bring you the soundtrack.

I cannot believe how much I am not aware of how much (good) bands exist in the region I live in..Varazdin and Cakovec and everything between and around is full of very good bands,and after Bad Blood,from Cakovec I bring you this great Hardcore band Youth Against,and their live recording from the club Mochvara from Zagreb,the most active underground club in Croatia,closing these days (thanx to Zagreb`s major Milan Bandic-S.O.B.).Well,at the Bitchfits gig I spoked with this guy on the pic,a very cool guy,and he told me about Youth Against,so here is this soundboard recording of a gig from year 2000.Very aggressive vocals and strong Hardcore.Recommended.

This demo here is a very good work from a Croatian Pagan Metal band.This is their only release and it is dated 2002,so even if I found the information that they are active,it is sure that there are no recordings after this one.Seems like the reason of their inactivity lays in the death of the ir bassist Amarth in 2005 (R.I.P.).And if you search for their site,you will find one where is written that the band is prepairing new material..unfortunately,it is written for year 2006..But this one is,for the moment,and for all who never listened to this band more than enough!Exquisit is the hidden Tiamat cover of The Sleeping Beauty!!

RANCID HELL SPAWN - AXE HERO , CD 1992

GRUUTHAAGY (Cro) - Diabolus rotae collection 92-00 , cd 2000

This is stuff I got from Mika of Hope,a compilation of works by Gruuthaagy,the cult one-man band whose member is KKTZ,legend of the Croatian underground.Gruuthaagy on this cd is (I am no expert in this kind of expression) presenting a compilation of works between 1992 and 2000.The stuff featured is,for my opinion,some kind of dark experimental noise,and I really hope Kukatz won`t be angry on my ignorancy in this.

1992-2000 collection CDR, presenting probably the best moments of my analog phase. Here you can also find part of previously unreleased first demo "THE FACTS OF NIGHT", plus it has neat cover with lot's of my art to back up the noise.
