What can I tell..I am maybe rusting away,and Metal is going further complicated to the bone, every day more and more.And I am glad this post is coming after that Propaganda Hardcore 83 album,you know what I mean..But this band is excellent.In everything;production,execution, complication..This is one of the most complicated Death Metal albums I have ever heard,but as that not boring.The drummer is a fucking beast.Enjoy!

PROPAGANDA HARDCORE 83 (Fin) - compilation lp 1983

Now,we are talking about a legend!In Pula known as "the green record",this is an album that learned me and few fellows around me (later known as Leukkemiaa) that you actually don`t need a knowledge in playing any instrument to play in a band!!And this record lifted Finnish Hardcore Punk to immensity,because,let`s be honest,some of the bands featured here really,but really shouldn`t ever got instruments in their hands-but only if we talk of perfection!If we talk about being spontanius and playing your anger out,then every single band here is immense!This is an excellent vinyl-rip,and believe me,if you like Hardcore Punk and are fan of freedom of expression,then you will never stop listening to this record..Definitely one of my favourite compilations of all the times.
PS:The last band is probably added for the cd-version,and it is not featured on the vinyl-the vinil lasts concluding with Varaus.

PROPAGANDA HARDCORE 83 - COMPILATION LP 1983

LAUFER (Cro) - Best off , cd 1994

Definitely,at least with this first album,the best band Croatia ever had since the independence (so,count from 1990.).Laufer were from Rijeka and came out more or less with the Grunge invasion,and very soon,they became on of the best bands in Croatia.Don`t get me by the word,Laufer are not completely Grunge,but if I have to put them into a style,then I would choose Grunge,not just because they appeared along with,but because a strong guitaristic expression by their guitarist Vava.I saw them live several times,they were incredibly explosive.Last year they reunited for a few shows,but that sucked,there were no magic that once was,and the vocalist Urban claimed that they reunited just to make some money on the old name (sic).However,Laufer are authors of the most beautiful Croatian ballad ever,the song Budi Moja Voda (even if Vava himself admitted that it has a little something from Always Somewhere by Scorpions...).An excellent album.

LAUFER - BEST OFF , CD 1994

ATOMSKO SKLONISTE (Cro) - Zabranjeno snivanje , lp 1985

Ok,finally,we came to the end of the story of the REAL Atomsko Skloniste (I read somewhere that AS died when the vocalist Sergio died,which is partly true).After this album-and I am talking about their Yugoslavian releases-the band splitted and only the bassist Bruno continued under the same name,but we all knew+felt that it is not THAT anymore (AS recorded a nice album after that,but that is another story).I repeat,I decided to put on this blog their complete discography as a hommage to one of the greatest Hard Rock bands Yugoslavia ever had.
Sergio Blazic died just few months after the completion of the recording.

ATOMSKO SKLONISTE - ZABRANJENO SNIVANJE , LP 1985

WARRIORS (Ser) - Warriors (v.2) , lp 1984

Well,here it is,an album pretty hard to find,and in it`s second version,for which I admit I didn`t knew it exists (I have the first version from 1983 with different songs on vinyl,and I have never heard about a second version-I hope I`ll get a grammophone very soon,so I can rip all the vinyls I want to put here!!).Anyway,Warriors are a very melodic Heavy Metal band born on the ashes of Gordi (bassist Slobodan Svrdlan) and as a side project of Riblja Corba`s drummer Vicko Milatovic.In the final,Vicko was missing so the band completed the line up and released a Maxi Single and an album,and tried their luck in Canada,from where is the guitarist Douglas Platt.As far as I remember,they did nothing,and splitted a year later.I am so sorry just for Slobodan Svrdlan,because he was one of the best Bassists in Yugoslavia..Enjoy this one.

PULSKA GAREZ (Cro) - Jebanje krava uzivo , cassette 1994

Well,finally,I rushed myself to fix this recording..A huge request;this Grindcore band from Pula is requested by many,and I have this recording took on the Destroy The Melody Festival 1 which took place on the 14th of April 1994,and featured among all Pulska Garez,Desinence Mortification,Bambix,Leukkemiaa,Brijacina Kojona..I remember it as an actually great gig done with zero money,just the good will of the local scene,and the blessing of the Rock Club Uljanik`s leader Bato Prastalo.Few months later a second edition (and unfortunately the last) of that festival took place and featured Hatross,Aeon,Desinence Mortification,Leukkemiaa,Business World,and an ad-hoc band who lasted exactly as long as the gig did (cca 5 minutes),featuring me on the drums.But let me return to PG.PG is also a band who didn`t lasted long,but left a trace for giving a name to the scene of Pula of that time (Pulska Garez,Desinence Mortification,Leukkemiaa,Brijacina Kojona,Lizatori Pizdere,Fonja...),and that was Totalna Perverzija (Total Perversion).This one is a soundboard recording,and that means a very good recording...yeah!

Heh..Pula strikes again..Two utterly extreme bands from the town with most talented musicians in Croatia.What we have here is the split-cd of the veterans Bolesno Grinje and a more-or-less new Grindcore sensation from Pula,Mercenary Cockroach.I am so proud I can present this CD which can compete with any other cd and any other band from the world,showing that we-in Croatia-have really what to show and share,and that goes especially for Pula,in our own country known as "eternal perifery".

This was one of the most violent records I have ever heard (with Kreator`s Pleasure To Kill) back in 1986.The band was previously called Samhain and released this record with the name of Satan`s gift (and another cover),but then Noise decided they have to change the name,and also the title and the cover of the album.It sucks,but however Deathrow recorded a beautiful album,an incredible barrage of ultraheavy riffs.This is still my Deathrow`s favourite album,and another prove that for me the German Speed/Thrash of 1984-1987 was the best and most exciting metal ever.

Thanx to Florijan (ex Condition Critical and Hatross bassist),we can enjoy this beauty,Septic Death`s EP,a nice vinyl rip.On this Ep,Pushead had guests as Kirk Hammett of you-know-who playing guitar on the title track,and Andy Anderson of Attitude Adjustment as the demon vocal on Demon.If you know how SD sounds,this is something you might have,but if you don`t,grab it now,because it will add more to your SD material.For those who don`t know about SD,it is a specific HC,very fast and neurotic.Anyway,a nice one!

Here is another Croatian Thrash Metal band from the first middle of the 90s.At that time,there were an invasion of Croatian Thrash bands,some of them (especially the ones from Zagreb) succeded in being noticed widely,while the others had to work their way to the audience much harder.Amorphosa were one of them.A nice demo of a Thrash with some HC parts played a little sloppy here and there,but overall a very good demo,surely one more in the list of Croatian Metal bands.

Here is something pretty rare,even if it is not a so old demo (well,15 years are not that much,right).The band is from Rijeka,and plays a kind of mid-tempo Thrash Metal,but very fairly.The recording is not the best you heard,but if you collect Croatian Metal,this is something you will hardly find,and it is 100% worth having.

Here`s an EP I liked some 20 years ago (when I say I liked,it does not mean that I don`t like it still,it is just that I really listened to it very much back at that time.),a noisy and Thrashy French Hardcore Punk band who played from early 80 to the early 90s,and then disappeared.They did some vinyls,and among them is this EP,pretty extreme and noisy,which I recommend to all lovers of fast Thrashy HC.
