This is a more/less rare one,the first and only album of the band from Split.It was actually a side-project of members of Evil Blood,and this album is an official one.This album lacks of one song,after track number 6 (To hell and back in one day),and I am very sorry for this.But anyway,I hope that you will enjoy this album.Not the best recording,but a very good Thrash Metal,for which I can`t understand why it remained so hidden for all this time (at least for me..)..Great stuff contributed by Metalstorm.Thank you,man!

Here is the come-back cd of one of the most stubborn bands in Croatia.Coming from Pula,Messerschmitt started in 1988,and until now they changed members (except for the indestructible Miro Kusacic,who gave me this CD) but never,and I mean NEVER changed the musical style.This CD is their first material after a longer pause,and it is a CD of covers,all standards and played in their own style.So all classic rock played dirty and loud,enjoy!

The first thing that kicks you in your balls here is the almost perfect Kyuss-esque production.Super Booster are from Pula,(I don`t have to repeat it anymore,all the great bands comes from Pula,right?), and are undoubtely the best Stoner Metal band comin` from Croatia.Half a band is ex-Headbanger members.All the pot-smokin` freaks and all those who will become it should have this!!

Oooww..I adored this album back in the 80`s (and I still do,of course!) and this is the english version of their March Au Creve album,sang in French.I am hunting for years for this album (I mean on the net,I have the vinyl version since 1983.).A great Heavy Metal album this one,featuring one of the first Nicko McBrain performances (as far as I know).And Trust are a band that has been covered by Anthrax (Antisocial,one of Trust`s first hit).I say;A MUST.

This band was a request by someone who visited this blog,I am sorry you have waited that much,but Roihlem (Thanx,man!!) saved me and sent me this demo by Pergament,a band that had also an album,but then they split-up.This is pretty interesting,as it is a recording that is partly Thrash and partly a very powerful Heavy Metal.Anyway,perfectly played.Worth downloading.

I have already posted their mini-lp,here`s now the full album.If you liked the mini,there is no worry you won`t like this one.Very strong Hard Rock,in momemts balancing to Heavy Metal.The band eventually split after their guitarist received the invitation from Riblja Corba to replace Rajko Kojic on guitar.A very nice one this one.

ATOMSKO SKLONISTE (Cro) - Atomska trilogija - live , lp 1980

I am sorry I don`t have a bigger picture of this album..I could have scanned the cover, but I have only a A4 scanner so it would be just a part of it.. maybe some day soon.. A private rememberance; I remember when Sasa Dadic (drummer of AS, at the time my next door neighbour) brought to my father this album, he had the test pressing of it, and he came to my home to listen to it with us.. these are things you never forget. And that makes this album even bigger for me. So after those things, tell me how a kid won`t love Hard/Heavy music... Anyway, I think it is, in a way the highest (musically, of course) moment of AS. This is one of the best ex-Yu live albums ever, and one of the best ex-Yu Hard Rock albums ever. Recorded in Pula, and it can be easily the "Best of" album of the three first albums. Essential, believe me.

Ok,I won`t say much about it,this is the third album by this Christian Rock band from Croatia,as far as I know,they have one more album,that I don`t have,at least for the moment.Hard Rock from father Bobas and his band.One interesting fact is that Glasnici Nade were helped here and there by Sead Lipovaca,the main guitarist in Divlje Jagode!For collectors.

MIZAR (Mac) - Mizar , lp 1988

Mizar is a great Macedonian Goth-Dark Rock band (I really don`t know where to put them,so this would be the closest definition),and this is their first album from 1988.I remember buying the cassette of this,I remained pleasantly surprised by the content,musically a very emotive band with orthodox themes here and there and a beautiful Istekuvam by the end of the album.A special part of the album is Goran Tanevski`s deep low vocal.Recommended.

MIZAR - MIZAR , lp 1988

DR STEEL (Cro) - Live , place and time unknown

Dr Steel were a band from Rijeka.They missed the opportunity to become the ex-Yugoslavia`s greatest Heavy Metal band.They had two albums and had few tours all over Yugoslavia,but obviously the band did`t resist any longer.I saw today a movie about the scene in Rijeka,and Dr Steel were a considerable band in the history of the Rock scene of Rijeka.
This recording is very rare,I received it today and decided to put it here at once,even there are some 10 uploads that are waiting in a row...This is truly a very rare pearl,ripped from a tape from a friend from Rijeka (I would like to thank him a lot,as I don`t know his name,got that??Hey,get in touch,man!!),a guy that automatically became a great contributor for this blog.
This live consists of live recordings from two (maybe even three) live gigs of unknown proveniency and unknown year of performance,the recording is a soundboard one,even if it is not of the best quality,but still much much better than the Hellers,for example.You should really enjoy this rare recording!

VIS IDOLI (Ser) - Pomoc pomoc , single 1980

I decided to post this little beauty,because I love the early VIS Idoli sound,and this is even more radical or let`s say demo-esque.This is a single that came alleged to a magazine called Vidici,I suppose it was in the beginning of the 1980,even if it can possibly be 1979.Very rare.
The song Retko Te Vidjam Sa Devojkama became later their probably biggest hit,and it was the first song in the ex-YU about the "being gay" topic.A true beginning of the New Wave invasion.

Evil Blood is a band formed in 1983.This demo is supposedly recorded in 1984,but wasn`t released until 1989,and the copy I found is dated 1986,so basically seemslike not even the band knows when this demo is recorded/released..well,I am kidding.Venom influenced Speed Thrash on a good recording,plus the presence of Sinisa Vuco on bass,makes this demo a nice one for the ex-Yu Metal collectors.

YUGOSLAVIAN HARD ROCK TRASH , compilation

A collection of Yugoslavian (ex-Yugoslavian,of course) Hard Rock/Metal,including the biggest or so bands from the ex-YU.There is no any cover,not anything else,just this collection.And you know what?I like it.It is a very nice collection showing the Hard Rock scene of the former state.As usual,there are some bands missing (like early Bijelo Dugme,early Riblja Corba,Generacija 5,Zuta Minuta,Treci Kanal,Dr Steel or Jersey),but it is anyway a great collection.Btw,Pomaranca is on the pic.Enjoy and bang those heads,people.
