Borghesia was a Slovenian band (with one member originally from Pula, let`s get it straight) that played Electrobody/Wave music, and they were along with Laibach probably one of the most progressive bands coming from Slovenia.This stuff you have here is the cd release which differs from the original LP in the position of the songs as well as in quantity of the songs.The vinyl contains 8 songs, while here are three more.For the lovers of electronic music, recommended.

I loved this band way back in the 80s, and relistening to their stuff is soooo fucking good..This is German old school Thrashin` at its best.This is the bands fourth demo (they recorded 7 demos before they released their debut album Death Squad! - at least, they released an album..), and the sound is not that bad.Actually for a demo from 1989, it Thrashes really good!!

Well, here are news from one of my favourite Croatian bands, my friends from Popeye.They played three weeks ago here in Varazdin, and Zheeka (second from the left) played in their van some tracks from the new cd "Cijena slobode" soon to be released.I can assure you that the album will be a blast, at least for the people who love nu-metal (and believe me, in Croatia the number of fans raised drasticly after the Limp Bizkit show here in Varazdin, sic). In this advance track, Popeye have a great guest, the istrian etno-jazz singer Tamara Obrovac, which fits perfectly in this combination.So, if you like, here`s a taste of what will be their full album.
This compilation was a very succesful one, almost a cult.It had almost every significant act of the new-wave invasion , including Bijelo Dugme who also turned from the leading Hard Rock act to a New Wave/Ska band..But if you want to have a really very good compilation of the ex-Yugoslavian new wave, this is definitely a must.
This one is for the collectors of old Punk Rock bands stuff.Gaznevada were from Italy, and this is their first tape dated 1979.The sound is different from song to song, which is pretty confusing, but it is the content of this tape, probably made of various recordings. All in all, not bad at all, and this one is brought to you by Vladimir!
Ohhhhhhh yesssssss!! Finally!! Many of you asked me to upload this EP, and I found just now a vinyl-rip I did 4-5 years ago..I bought this EP by mail in 1988, and of course expected some hard grinding and blasting. When it arrived to me, I was very surprised by the content, but in the same time very amused by this EP. It lasts 3 minutes sharp but it is a load of fun and distortion (especially distortion!). My warm recommendation!!! Eat my yellow banana, hahaha!!!
A compilation I got from my guitarist Mladen, something released after I moved from Pula to Varazdin.This compilation holds five bands from Pula, all rehearsing in the Karlo Rojc community.This is material of high musical quality, all bands with great recordings, two songs by each bands. I know that many Croatian Metal fans will get this one for Nailed and Skepsis +. Enjoy.
This is the last album from this hypermusician from Montenegro, a great work of strange funky jazzy rock with extremely ironic yet intelligent lyrics.The interesting fact about this album is that Rambo (real name Antonije Pusic) asked the fans through myspace to invent the cover for this album.This one was (one of) the result.
My old buddy and contributor to this blog, Florijan, sent me this demo of a brandnew band from Pula, a demo finished just three days ago.This is a very young band, and I am glad there is bands who play good old Heavy Metal, and this is something I would not like to compare with anything, I hope the band will continue this way, and we`ll have surely more good stuff in the future!
This split album/CD with demos from both bands is already cult stuff, so here is my little contribution in spreading great material.The demos featured here are totally powerful, the recordings are loud and raw, yet good sounding good.A must for all those who like extreme metal.
One of the first underground records/albums coming out from the rich Pula Punk scene.Both bands are already featured on this blog, so I will only repeat that Fakofbolan (aka FOB) plays some strong street Punk, and Dark Busters are easily comparable with NoMeansNo.One interesting fact: the cover of the vinyl is intentionally made half centimeter bigger, so it is easily noticeable among other records in your collection.Clever move.This is a great vinyl rip.
The vocalist and frontman of the serbian Thrash Metal band SPACE EATER , Boško Radišić (29) died last night around midnight in a fire in his apartment in Belgrade.His sister Marija (26) died in the fire too.
