For the first time here`s a band from Pula which was active in the second part of the 90s, and was made by three very talented guys.The music they played was pretty much inspired by Nomeansno, so that would be the description of what you are all about here.Later they released an excellent split-lp with Pula`s street Punk masters Fakofbolan (soon to be posted here!).

Our friend Miha asked it, so here it is! This is probably the best Punk debut album from the ex-Yugoslavia. PP were (actually, they still are!) from Novi Sad.Last year they played at the EXIT festival in Novi Sad and -playing as co-headliner, blew the Sex Pistols away!! However, if you love Punk at least a millimeter, this album is made for you.A total MUST!!

Let me introduce you to one of the best Metal bands of the moment in Croatia.This is their last work dated 2006 (a bit far, right?) but the band is still very active so we can expect more good stuff from them.So enjoy this one, for the moment.
PS:One fact that makes me respect this band that they call this release a DEMO, when most of the Croatian bands do a 2-3 song releases and call them an ALBUM. Respect, guys.

This is a demo recording (actually a format of a full album) I got from the band`s drummer Istvan, and I can tell you that this is an extremely professional recording.DC were a band from Varazdin, and they played some easier NYHC style of Metal (but not with that powerful production) with a very nice female vocal.This recording was hidden until now.I thank Istvan for this recording!!

Here is another Croatian fanzine from the mid 90s, and it came from Pozega (as we have few visitors from Pozega on this blog, comments are welcome!). The stuff is mostly in Croatian language, and more or less all about Death Metal and Grindcore.Bands featured are Misery, Insane, Pseudostratified Epithelium, Desinence Mortification, Sarcastic Terror, Amorphosa, Insanity ,Drinking Skull, Homicide, Pure Stems Pack, Tomb Crusher, Aeon , Cadaverous Condition and Soter. Well, by request and by my wish too, here is the Soter`s first demo.This demo is played by two regular visitors of this blog Mika (contributor too!) and Axegrinder.So, as for the first post, what we have here is a very raw recording of some dark Doom Metal atmospheres here, not the usual "I am stuffed with weed as a monkey" stuff.The live-rehearsal room recording just amplifies the feel.Stuff to have for collectors of Croatian Metal.And for the Croatian-speaking fans, here is also a radio interview done with the band!!A must.

So, old school Thrash Metal cult demo from Denmark dated January 1986, a very good audio copy, again for old Thrashing maniacs!

Oh yeah, the cover is well known..The single and the album had the same cover, and if you ask me musically I prefer the single, because it brings new tracks.The album, beside the stuff from this single, brings weirdly re-produced tracks from the Hear Nothing.. album (absolutely needless!), and even I have the vinyl, I avoid it very much.Same Discharge as the previous, except for the cleaner production, still kept in the Discharge margins.

I remember this demo was one of the cult demos that we were passing from hand to hand in Pula back in the 80s.This is pure Thrash Metal from the beginnings; raw, somewhere midtempo, and most important - SINCERE.Even if it the sound is not very good, this one is a must for all the old-school fans.
