This one is the third demo by this Dutch band (it is written II on the cover, but they actually had one never released demo between the first and the second).On this demo they improved pretty much their playing skill, and the recording is with a very good production, and very loud.Old school Thrash here!!
It is now time to hear it from a Serbian band who lasted just one demo, a really good work, despite the not that excellent copy I have here.But this demo is definitely worth having, excellent Thrash/Death Metal from the beginning of the 90s.
Here is another Croatian fanzine from the mid 90s, and it came from Pozega (as we have few visitors from Pozega on this blog, comments are welcome!). The stuff is mostly in Croatian language, and more or less all about Death Metal and Grindcore.Bands featured are Misery, Insane, Pseudostratified Epithelium, Desinence Mortification, Sarcastic Terror, Amorphosa, Insanity ,Drinking Skull, Homicide, Pure Stems Pack, Tomb Crusher, Aeon , Cadaverous Condition and Soter. Wow, stuff to read, ha?
Ok, now something completely different! This one comes from a guy hidden behind the monicker b=eat[Z], you may know him as Zoran-the guitarist of the extremest band in Croatia (and definitely among my favourite bands) 40 Gradi. This one is his alter-ego and something he`s also very talented for. This is an album of great electronic music perfectly produced and composed by Zoran himself.If you want to chill a little from the usual guitar sounds, make sure this is the sound you will replace `em with!
Here is the album of a cool Serbian Metal band from the Yugoslavian period, a band that would probably have done more if the things on the Balkans remained calm.We already had their demo here (released after the album!) and if you listened to it, you know what is all about.So if you are fan of Heavy Metal from the Balkans, this one is definitely for you.
Well, by request and by my wish too, here is the Soter`s first demo.This demo is played by two regular visitors of this blog Mika (contributor too!) and Axegrinder.So, as for the first post, what we have here is a very raw recording of some dark Doom Metal atmospheres here, not the usual "I am stuffed with weed as a monkey" stuff.The live-rehearsal room recording just amplifies the feel.Stuff to have for collectors of Croatian Metal.And for the Croatian-speaking fans, here is also a radio interview done with the band!!A must.
This is a fun Punk album from this Italian legendary band.The Punk Rock here is of the softer ones, but still an album that is part of the Italian Punk Rock scene.And it is given for this blog from Vladimir (Tnx).Especially interesting for all Italian-speaking people.

So, old school Thrash Metal cult demo from Denmark dated January 1986, a very good audio copy, again for old Thrashing maniacs!
Oh yeah, the cover is well known..The single and the album had the same cover, and if you ask me musically I prefer the single, because it brings new tracks.The album, beside the stuff from this single, brings weirdly re-produced tracks from the Hear Nothing.. album (absolutely needless!), and even I have the vinyl, I avoid it very much.Same Discharge as the previous, except for the cleaner production, still kept in the Discharge margins.
And as I posted Soter, which contained members of Amen, let`s stay in da house and continue with another Amen recording I got from Mika.As they are prepairing to do their comeback, here is the collection of recordings the band (actually just one member) did during these years of inactivity.It is in the same Thrash way as the previous demos, and with a rhythm machine that will soon be replaced by Mika (yeah!).Enjoy this one.
Well, finally you got the chance to hear another Croatian Doom Metal band, Soter from Pozega.The band contained members from Amen and played for few years in the 90s.This recording comes from 1994, it is a rehearsal demo, and the Doom played here is slow, depressive and heavy as a real Doom Metal have to be.There will be more stuff from Soter, and for that people send a thank you to Mika from Hope/Amen.Stuff you must have!!
This is a special cd release (not Limited, just special) of this extreme HC band, leaded by a guy whose drawings are worldwide popular, especially known for the drawings in the Metallica "And Justice.." album.This cd contains the album "Now that I have the attention.." and the single "Kichigai".An excellent cd for the fans of Thrash HC, the extremest one.
I admit that this kind of Metal turns me off.Yeah, too kitsch for my taste.And if there is someting I don`t like are the opera female voices in Metal.But, these guys are powerful as hell and can be competitive with any Gothic/Power band in the world.This is their first album from 2004.
I remember this demo was one of the cult demos that we were passing from hand to hand in Pula back in the 80s.This is pure Thrash Metal from the beginnings; raw, somewhere midtempo, and most important - SINCERE.Even if it the sound is not very good, this one is a must for all the old-school fans.
Very technical Thrash Metal deep into Death Metal from this Slovenian band.This is their third work before they split-up.Unlike other bands, in this recording they use saxophone, keyboards and female vocals, so anyway something slightly different this way comes..
I was never a fan of this band, but some people visiting this blog are big fans, so this post goes for them and for all those who are maybe searching for something more from this band.This is their first demo from 1979, a pretty obscure recording and not a high quality here, just raw Crust Punk.If you ask me, I would recommend you the live recording posted earlier on this blog, but this one will fit the collectors.

Well, yes, I was thinking about it more than two months.. I wanted to do a blog completely dedicated to my most favourite vinyl format - the 7 inch single record, or the Extended Plays - the 7 inch large piece of vinyl.It will be dedicated to all kinds of music, mostly any other kind from folk to grindcore (opposite to this blog, the Metal and Punk/HC stuff will be pretty rare, altough there will be some rare pieces also!), the important thing is to be on a 7-inch vinyl.
Elgibbor is a one-man Unblack Metal band from Poland (Unblack is, obviously, opposite of Black Metal, right?) and this is his fourth album.I like this band a very lot, and this album is as strong as any other BM bands album.The only difference here is that Satan is a loser.
Hehe, this is the first demo of the Chicago masters of murder metal, an excellent band if you haven`t had the opportunity to hear their sound.They originally played an extremer kind of Thrash Metal, which by its technicality and violence put them on the border of being one of the first Death Metal bands.The sound quality is excellent.
