DISCHARGE (U.K.) - Live At The City Garden New Jersey , lp 1989

Hmmm..it will be a strange review this one..You know that I am a diehard Discharge fan since the first time I heard their Why maxi-single..and I think Hear Nothing.. is one of the best Punk Thrash Hardcore albums of all the times. And I covered two of their tracks with my bands..
But this is too low..This is Discharge still in their best phase, but slowly dying. This is a soundboard recording of a show where they were..I don`t know..weak?No rehearsals?Or as bands usually say "bad monitoring on stage"?But it is not only that..there is less anger in it..but well, here it is,try it yourself. It is still Discharge,but..
PS:NOT what you see in the video..

DISCHARGE - LIVE AT THE CITY GARDEN NEW JERSEY , LP 1989

MEGABITCH (Cro) - Stars on 25 , cassette 1993

Megabitch from Pula were a pretty succesful Melodic HC/Punk band on the Croatian territory in the 90s,I am sure that the biggest part of their success was due to the fact that the biggest part of the band were students in Zagreb (and it is a well known fact that bands from Zagreb and close to Zagreb were more succesful and had easier access to larger airplays than other bands). But not only that,of course, their cassette had a wider airplay also for the fact that they had a very popular cover of Queen`s "I want to break free".So,this is their first release, collectors item.

MONTE PARADISO LIVE 1993 - COMPILATION 1993

NAELC WONK (Cro) - D.emo.d , demo 2000

This is a surprisingly good band playing modern,or well,I call it Nu-Metal,but not the soft mainstream way,but really with a strong HC power (like early Korn). They are from Karlovac, and unfortunately this is their only recording dated 2000,even the band still exists.

HOPERA (Ita) - demo 1995

Now,a demo of a band totally unknown to the world, and I am not sure if they did something else after this one.Anyway,I met the drummer of this band back in 1995,and he sent to me this demo,a very nice and fairly produced demo,an easy listening and very melodic Metal with Dream Theater influences. Not a must, but if you collect Metal bands all over the world, then you will surely want this one too!

This is the last official release of AS,an album that passed very unnoticed (compared to all others) and an album that is pretty powerless compared to all others. It is still Hard Rock as AS knew, but even Bruno`s voice lost power..an album for the AS collectors, because it is senseless to have the complete discography without the last album.

NULLA OSTA (Cro) - Poslije zivota , cd 2003

Great, almost unique band from Pula, playing very fast HC with drums and two distorted basses, and a vocalist too. This is their second album, continuing what they did on the first, only stronger.NO plays a lot of shows outside Croatia, they are definitely one of the most active bands at that, and one who went most far, having a tour in Brazil in April this year.I just read, the band wanted a guitarist, but they couldn`t find one,so they added another bass player in the band.Marvelous decision,as it makes them more interesting!
PS:The video down here is a live performance from their Brazilian tour, from the date in Bauru, accidentally,on my birthday, yeah! The recording is in two pieces.

SCATTERBRAIN (U.S.A.) - Here comes trouble , lp 1990

Ooohh,I promised you this album few monts ago..well here it is.A band made mostly of ex-Ludichrist members.Anyone liked Ludichrist albums? You won`t probably like this one then.Even it is basically the same thing, but in a more light, listeneable way,a lot of flirting with Funk..actually,thinking twice, they remind me here of bands as Atom Seed or Mindfunk,so if you are ready to make a compromise and accept a lighter and cleaner version of Ludichrist, this is for you.If not, skip this one.If you never cared about Ludichrist anyway, this might be an interesting Funk-Metal (I hate this monicker!!) album..

Tracks:
