OVO JE PULA , A NE RIJEKA (PULA - LONDON - TEHERAN) - compilation casette 1988

This is a nice compilations of bands from Pula,exactly bands from the Garage Rock wave/mania/invasion at the end of the 80s.I bet Pula was the city with most garage rock bands in the world at that time.They are all on this cassette made by a HC fan from Rakalj,in the heart of Istria,mr. Geza.Enjoy this piece of Pula`s Rock history!
A trivia about the title:a contingent of some 10 bands from Pula went by bus to Rijeka to a regional bands contest (called Gitarijada).Among them were Devastation,Messerschmitt (their very first show!!!),The Swindle,Sumrak Ideja,Ulicni Dzuboks,052..I had a tape recorder with me,to record the Devastation show,and some few,and the Messerschmitt too.The bands from Pula were totally discriminated and practicly all bands played early in the afternoon.We were pretty angry about it,and all our anger came out through Miro Kusacic (vox,guitar) brilliantly announcing that the Messerschmitt show,as well as the shows of all Pula bands that afternoon are part of a unity called Pula-London-Teheran (as opposite to the title of a compilation of bands from Rijeka entitled Rijeka-Paris-Texas).Also,the title is a parody of the legendary "This is Boston,not LA" compilation (the translation is This Is Pula,not Rijeka).
