ISTARSKI ROCK `86 - Istrian compilation cassette 1986

As you can read in the backcover, this cassette is released in only 200 copies, so it makes an ultrarare item.Luckily, the work around the movie about the underground music in PULA in the 70s and 80s saved somehow all these pearls from disappearance.
This is a compilation of Istrian rock bands released by the slovenian small label "Slovenija" from Koper, a small beautiful city at the top of the Istrian peninsula`s southwestern shores.Here are featured 4 band (of which I know only 2).The first one is CASTEL, I don`t know anything about them, they play some new romantic stuff, very nice.KUD IDIJOTI is a band you already know, and this stuff is taken from their 1986 demo you already know too.The next band is H.T.B. and I don`t know nothing about them, except the fact that their bassist later became a member of The Spoons from Pula.Nice rock.The last band SUMSKI PJEVACI GORTANOVE UVALE is probably the most interesting of those four bands, with an extremely interesting melodical palette and two milestone musicians of the scene of Pula, Goran Curic-Cotka and Sandro Perocevic (incidentally, engineers and producers of my band`s Hatross demo from 1992, and Cotka also of the one from 1996, and soon of the new Devastation material - this is a scoop!!).
All in all, a nice compilation for all those who wonders about some Istrian bands that were not that exposed at that time..
