PRO ARTE + INDEXI (BiH) - Pro Arte I Indexi u Bugarskoj, lp 1973

This one is a gem of the Yugoslav rock history.Actually, I never heard of this record until I found it on the net, and consequently found some info on that. That is why I am putting this great vinyl-rip here. The first mistake I have to repair is the year of that tour: the rar file have the 1971 as the year of release, while the correct year is 1973. The fusion of that band was very interesting, as both bands contained very talented musicians, and two excellent vocalists. So, this record is a mix of both bands songs, and you will recognise who`s which song by the vocalist: Pro Arte`s is Vladimir Savcic Cobi (R.I.P.) , and Indexi`s Davorin Popovic (R.I.P.). Oh yeah, here`s a reminder of one of the greatest Crossover bands that fused Metal and Hardcore so virtuosly. This is their first demo, recorded live at the legendary CBGB, and it is of course a nice soundboard recording. Really worth having this one!!

LUDICHRIST - 1ST DEMO TAPE LIVE AT CBGB 1986

DISSECTOR (Cro) - Emerge from profoundity, demo 1993

Here is another band pulled out from history, this is a demo recorded in the early 90s, this band comes from Split and represents the second wave of Thrash Metal from Croatia. This band wasn`t that lucky as other bands from that period, the war in Croatia slowed down the circulating of tapes, and also the main media (the Croatian Television) forced only bands from the capital town Zagreb, so all the other bands were more or less pushed apart. Well, this is a demo with some slower Thrash Metal not even played perfectly well, but still a document for the history of Croatian Metal.

I don`t remember the last time I posted more than three posts in one day, but it seems that today is the day I am going way over it! Let`s go on with this Slovenian Heavy quintet, playing a simple and melodic Heavy Metal, and they do it very good, so if you are into more classic forms of Heavy Metal, I recommend you this demo!

Well, this is a nice one. Very primitive sounding Thrash Metal (and by that I mean that they SOUND like the early Sepultura, Kreator or Sodom recordings-and HEAVILY influenced by all those bands), but veery good stuff indeed. This is a young trio from Serbia, and another one to add to the excellent trace of great Thrash band coming from that country.Bravo.

RIBLJA CORBA (Ser) - Hala Pionir, Beograd 08.12.1985.

I found this recording somewhere on the net, and in this rar file you will find also the VIDEOS for both songs. Riblja Corba sucks shit lately (IMHO), but back until the 90s they were probably the biggest band in Yugoslavia (with Bijelo Dugme) and this stuff is from 1985, so from their mark II line-up and their second best part of their whole carreer (the mark I line-up is simply too good to be comparised with anything they did after). Enjoy history.
