Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhh!!!One of my world`s favourite Hardcore band EVER is back!!And they are ultrafast as they were 20 years ago,and still have the good old dirty highly distorted sound,and a hyperultrafast drummer...Man,this is a blast!!This is incredibly good stuff. Recently the vocalist Jugga left the band,so Ake took the vocals on the live shows,and as far as I know,they will play the Balkanika Core Fest in Kranj,Slovenia at the end of August..A must,a definite must.

So here we go again..a Serbo/Canadian band that unfortunately never succeded the way they planned..First of all,I want to thank mr.Milos Senicar for sending me this double cd collection,an inestimable set of all works of this band.You have everything here:demos,the EP and both Canadian and Yugoslav versions of their only LP.So everybody who knew about them can collect all the stuff at once!Enjoy this piece of Yugoslav Metal history.

I am trying to remember where did I bought this vinyl EP,but can`t remember,really..Anyway,I found this fine rip on the net,so it is one I really recommend to you.I know that beside of this one,Vellocet have also an album Captive Of Reality,I have it somewhere among my mp3s,but haven`t listened to it.While this EP is part of my intensive living through Thrash in the second part of the 80s.Vellocet were a metallized HC band,and this EP can surely satisfy Metalheads as well as Punks.Enjoy it.

Bad Blood are legends from Cakovec,a city near Varazdin (where I live).This is their first demo from 2000. and it is surprisingly good.To define what they play..well..It has elements of Thrash,Hardcore..The guys from the band call it Powercore.Anyway I hope you have a picture of what it is.The band is still active,they had the reunion show on October 2007 (watch the video down here!),and they will play on a festival in Cakovec on the 17th of May.Recommended!

This is a band that left a trace on me and especially on my band Devastation.This is a cult album,a very dirty and Punky Thrash Metal,and also some Doom influences (ie:part of No time and I want to die).The first track Armies Of The Dead (covered also by Devastation,and recently approved by John Alexander himself!) is one of the best album openers I have ever heard.Try it!If you are into old school,you must have this one! PS:This band in various line-ups had some musicians you might met before,as Seth Putnam (Anal Cunt) and Michelle Meldrum.

The second EP of the Pula`s most famous Punk Rock band (not in the bad meaning of the phrase!!) was a sound improvement for them,it is a little bit dirtier and directly raw,altough Kud Idijoti were still not what they will become later,a band that forces the "being as natural as possible",and that goes for the sound mainly.So,three new tracks,among them the legendary explosive Partisan song O Bella Ciao in Punk version.A must. PS:The singles (the first three mainly) are out of print,and almost extremely hard to find (hehe...you know what I mean..) PPS:No video for this single;I found this one with my brother Chriss on the drums!!!

Oh,yeah,another Serbian Thrash Metal band,in the beloved oldschool way.I got this from Roihlem (Thanx) and if you ask me,I never noticed this band back in time (well,the cassette/cd was released during the war years,during the total blockade of information from Serbia),but I am glad that documents like this one remained in time,and that we,collectors of such stuff can give it forward.So,oldschool bangers,stuff for your teeth. PS:I wrote "cassette" because this is a very fair cassette rip.

This is one of the most emotive albums I have ever heard.I probably skipped a lot of My Dying Bride and similiar stuff,because I found it too depressive.But Candlemass,and especially with this album,they got me the moment I heard this guitar sound,this beautiful voice of Messiah Marcolin (which voice I knew from the pre-Candlemass band Mercy) and the depth and power of their songs at the same time.I never did recommend specific songs from albums,because I think an album is a whole story,and songs are only pieces.But this time,I invite you to listen to 01.the power and the heaviness and the melody of Bewitched + 02.The sadness and the lyrics of Samarithan + 03.The heaviness of At the gallows end.Of course,every song has great songwriting and really beautiful lyrics..oh,come on,do you need anything more?? PS:Please watch the video of Bewitched,it is soooooooooooooooo Metal!!
