What can be said, this is a blog where I will post some stuff I really like,so I think you should like it too.I am a metalhead to the heart, but I will put here every kind of stuff I like, not only Metal.I hope you will enjoy it,and let me know if there is anything needed, especially from the ex-Yugoslavia territory.
Cheers!
This is one of my all-time-favourites demo (along with Death`s Infernal death and Phantasm`s 1987 demo), and, as somebody asked, a great copy. This is a great crossover piece, heavily metallic but still with a lot of HC power and aggression. A must, if you ask me.
Great stuff ! The Bosnian Thrash Metal sensation Sihirator, already in Audioheaven, are here now with their second demo, fast Old School Thrash Metal at it`s best ! And they are interesting also in criticizing Islam and with lyrics practicly same as the Black Metal.. I think, if that is called Black Metal, this may become Green Metal ?? Hahaha, judge yourself!!
Back to Slovenia, here is some good Thrash Metal from Celje, a perfect recording. I don`t know why but I would compare them to early Testament.. The stuff is sang in Slovenian so it may be additionally interesting to Thrash fans around the world !
Now, not only that they are very nice to see, but they are very very rude to hear !! This band proves (once again, of course) that the females are able to rock even harder than most of the male bands. This EP is pure Thrashing disorder, 4 tracks with the perfect production for the kind of metal they play. It would be a shame and a sure loss at least not to try them ! Excellent stuff!
Here are my friends from Italy, the ones my band met at the Viva La Pola festival this summer, this cd contains pure old-school Thrash Metal, and of course we get never enough of that great music, so GC will be another cd you will enjoy for sure!
Here is another old croatian metal document, from this dark band founded from the ashes of Evil Blood, after the mainman left Croatia and started living in Scotland. The sound of this rehearsal demo is poor but still very listeneable. Except for the 3 own tracks, here you will get two covers, one by Motorhead and one by Venom (the two main influences of the band).
Finally it is out. This album means a lot to me, because it brings my memory to a guy I knew until the beginning of this year, until he left this planet forever.Post Mortem are a cult band from the 80s, and just as they planned a reunion, the vocalist John McCarthy died on January 28th this year, and it seemingly stopped the reunion.
JOHN McCARTHY , R.I.P. MY FRIEND
As the musical part of the new album was over, the guitarist John Alexander decided to finish it as a tribute to Macca (McCarthy). The vocals were done by SIGH`s vocalist Mirai Kawashima, and Alexander decided to include on the album some alternate versions of some songs with other vocalists, guys who were friends of the Macca, so as bonus tracks are included 5 songs sung by other vocalists such as Seth from Anal Cunt and Mike from Cianide. And I am proud to say that I gave my tribute too, I sung the McCarthy`s song "A Happy Life", it is no.15 on this cd.The cd is available through the myspace page of the band, or at www.tabootapes.com . Order it.

Here is something I found on the blog JUGOZVUK, a beautiful blog of ex-Yu music of all kind. This is the complete demo of this Bosnian band from Tuzla, a band that buned out fast, but probably disappeared with the beginning of the war.The sound is pretty good, and this is a collectors item.
Hmm, a great logo..and a great title of demo (you might think that there is some Fuck Off And Die thing goin` on, but no: the title means Soon Our Demo Finds Our Album Deal.Hahaha, very nice.. So, old school Thrash Metal cult demo from Denmark dated January 1986, a very good audio copy, again for old Thrashing maniacs!
Tracks: 01.Evil courier 02.Fateful day 03.Megalomania 04.Rebirth 05.Ground zero
I remember this demo was one of the cult demos that we were passing from hand to hand in Pula back in the 80s.This is pure Thrash Metal from the beginnings; raw, somewhere midtempo, and most important - SINCERE.Even if it the sound is not very good, this one is a must for all the old-school fans.
Tracks: 01.Evil metal 02.In hell 03.Creature of war 04.No title 05.Bloodlust (Venom cover)
Now, this compilation is what Metal needed for a loooong time. You already know my passion for old-school Thrash Metal..well, this compilation brings you to that point. An excellent choice of bands for celebrating the definitive return of the greatest kind of Metal ever.I won`t slice this compilation into pieces, I am just inviting you to take this one and to bang your head like crazy..like me. PS;And again, thanx to Pero for introducing me to this one!

Morsure were one of the best or at least most interesting bands of the "golden age of Thrash Metal" coming from France.Their full lenght album Accelleration Process was a pretty confusing album, because of the extreme use of electronic drums. The demo that preceeded the album shows that the album could sound a lot better if the acoustic drums were used for it.Well,if you liked the album, you will definitely like the versions with the common drum (even the recording is not the first copy, got it?).
Tracks: 01.M.A.D. 02.Morsure 03.Neither pity nor remorse 04.L` irremediable
Hypnosic are from Serbia,so far I don`t know absolutely nothing about them, except for this demo I recieved from Mel,it is a very good old school Thrash Metal stuff in the early Testament meets Kreator style.A demo you should have if you are a collector of Yugoslavian old Metal stuff!
What we have here is a very nice live-demo by this Belgrade-based band.It is recorded in 2006 (the rar file have the 2007 year mentioned, sorry),it is a slightly rough recording, but old school Thrash Metal without compromise. They haven`t done anything after this recording, having been stopped a while by a band`s member family loss.A nice one,of course, brought to you by Damir.Tnx.
Tracks: 01.Sile zla 02.Japanska 03.Primitivna nacija 04.Debela zena 05.Izlaza nema 06.Najcrnje noci 07.Vecni rat
Well, this is something that you miss in your collection.Sent to me by my contributor Damir from Australia, this is a rare demo of a band from Rijeka that left really almost no visible trace (pics or vids),but they left this great Thrashing demo.Exciting oldskool Thrash, with a fair production. The only bad thing about them is that they are labeled as nazis, even there are absolutely no proofs of that. The Hitler`s voice in the title song, and the refrain Sieg Heil maybe can lead you to such conclusion, but you need to read the lyrics to know what they are actually about. As the lyrics are not available, enjoy the music and forget about the Hitler thing, you don`t need it anyway.
Tracks: 01.Intro 02.Brave new world 03.I`m the master 04.Massacre 05.I see the death 06.Nacht traum 07.Whore 08.Force of frozen corpse 09.Apocalyptic sexual confusion+Outro
If you haven`t heard,THE MIGHTY BULLDOZER IS BACK!!Yep,they are prepairing an album for 2009,I hope they will Thrash the hell out as they did back in the 80s.This one is a hard-to-find mini-lp,the last thing they did.A very strange ep,actually a parody to the dance music that manicly spreaded all over the world in the beginning of the 90s.Sadly,the fans rejected this ep as "selling-out",but the whole thing was completely misunderstood.I found it on the net,it is a 56kpbs sound quality, and just here for you to judge were Bulldozer selling out or making just a mockery out of dance music.
So,here it is,another demo from this band from Pula, one of the most productive Metal bands from Pula in the 90s.This demo is a slower one by them, but still a treat for BR`s fans (and there are a lot of them in Croatia!!).One more demo, and all demos will be posted.Enjoy this!
Tracks: 01.At death`s door 02.Entire despair 03.Candle to the devil
This is a band that left a trace on me and especially on my band Devastation. This is a cult album,a very dirty and Punky Thrash Metal, and also some Doom influences (ie:part of No time and I want to die). The first track Armies Of The Dead (covered also by Devastation, and recently approved by John Alexander himself!) is one of the best album openers I have ever heard.Try it!If you are into old school, you must have this one! PS:This band in various line-ups had some musicians you might met before,as Seth Putnam (Anal Cunt) and Michelle Meldrum.
Tracks: 01.Armies of the dead 02.Waiting for the funeral 03.Ready to die 04.No time 05.Concealed 06.(It was) Just a tought 07.Syncopated Jazz 08.Soupy sales 09.Coroner`s office 10.Death to the masses 11.I want to die 12.Run amok
Oh,yeah, another Serbian Thrash Metal band,in the beloved oldschool way.I got this from Roihlem (Thanx) and if you ask me,I never noticed this band back in time (well, the cassette/cd was released during the war years, during the total blockade of information from Serbia),but I am glad that documents like this one remained in time, and that we,collectors of such stuff can give it forward. So,oldschool bangers, stuff for your teeth. PS:I wrote "cassette" because this is a very fair cassette rip.
Tracks: 01.Shame 02.Far from myself 03.Blindness 04.Blackout 05.Union 06.Sky`s burning higher 07.Legacy of pain 08.Real N.M.E. 09.Hero
This is a very good Slovenian Thrash Metal band from the first part of the 90s.Unfortunately the recording here is a bit silent, but pretty clean and understandable,so you can hear some nice Thrashing cuts from this band. All I know about them is a note that I found on the net,and it goes like "the most active Slovenian Thrash bands of the first half of the 90s were Interceptor and Acrodus".A must for the collectors of ex-yu Metal.
