Another new and pretty young Croatian Metal band,great (modern) Thrash Metal,I received great reviews of their live performances,and I can only add that this is a very powerful recording,and that this band surely have a bright future..Meanwhile,while we wait the first full cd,enjoy this nice demo!!Recommended!

This is a nice compilations of bands from Pula,exactly bands from the Garage Rock wave/mania/invasion at the end of the 80s.I bet Pula was the city with most garage rock bands in the world at that time.They are all on this cassette made by a HC fan from Rakalj,in the heart of Istria,mr. Geza.Enjoy this piece of Pula`s Rock history! A trivia about the title:a contingent of some 10 bands from Pula went by bus to Rijeka to a regional bands contest (called Gitarijada).Among them were Devastation,Messerschmitt (their very first show!!!),The Swindle,Sumrak Ideja,Ulicni Dzuboks,052..I had a tape recorder with me,to record the Devastation show,and some few,and the Messerschmitt too.The bands from Pula were totally discriminated and practicly all bands played early in the afternoon.We were pretty angry about it,and all our anger came out through Miro Kusacic (vox,guitar) brilliantly announcing that the Messerschmitt show,as well as the shows of all Pula bands that afternoon are part of a unity called Pula-London-Teheran (as opposite to the title of a compilation of bands from Rijeka entitled Rijeka-Paris-Texas).Also,the title is a parody of the legendary "This is Boston,not LA" compilation (the translation is This Is Pula,not Rijeka).

Terrorizer were a band that played very very fast Metal before it came widely accepted.This was a kind of supergroup,with members of Morbid Angel,Napalm Death and Nausea..If you don`t know who Terrorizer are..what are you waiting for??

This is a nice Ep of a very young band made of 2 girls and a guy.They claim they play Punk Rock,if you ask me I wouldn`t go that far,there is a Punk Rock energy in this stuff,but it is not pure Punk Rock,even if I am gonna classify it as that.Anyway for a band in their years and at the beginning,very good stuff indeed. And the girlies really know to play..
This one is a tape I got from Maras (the red guitar in the pic!Well,not the guitar,the player!) in the days of our first contacts,and it consists of a studio side,and a live side containing a superb soundboard live recording.This is a tape that shows Drinking Skull thrashing the best way they did in their carreer.I still hope I will see again Maras,Hrvoje and the gang together on stage.Who knows..

I watched this band last December in their hometown Cakovec on a charity-gig
(I don`t want to make a mistake on it,but I think it was to help the Bakterije`s vocalist in his fight against leukaemia)..you should have seen the chaos during their show..they surely have a lot of fans in their town,but I felt that huge energy coming off the stage..It was a damn good show,and this short three tracker is as exciting as it was their show.If you`re into HC Punk,then you`ll be a fool to miss this one!!
