Now, it is time to offer my life`s work. This is the Devastation cd that is released by Area Death Production label from Beijing, and thanx to mr.Wang Xiao and his crew, the material by my band saw the light of day. This cd contains both demos from 1987 and 1989, plus a live track from the first bands headlining gig, and two (three) rehearsal tracks. The whole cd is packed into a perfectly designed booklet and cover, and with it you get an extra sheet with lyrics in chinese.
Allright, finally another great serbian old-school Thrash Metal band.Coming from Sid and recommended to me by my friend and contributor Darko, Putrid Blood is a new band in the wave of great Thrash bands from Serbia. This album has an excellent production and is perfectly played, so this is something that anyone that is into Thrash Metal, but also Metal in general, should not miss.I really hope I will see this band live some time soon..
Allright, here is a brandnew young Thrash Metal band from Osijek, Croatia, and playing it totally old-school.The recording production is excellent, the execution is in-your-fuckin-face, so this is all you need to get this demo (long as a proper cd!) right now!A band to keep an eye on!!
This album is something that is expected for a very long time, after this band practicly exploded around with their Ep "Metal je rat", everyone anxiously expected a full release. And here it is.Released by the chinese "Area Death Productions" label, this album is inevitable to become one of your personal favourites, if you are into "new wave of old skool Speed Thrash Metal" bands (for example; Municipal Waste). Nadimac made a solid-no, not solid: a concrete-crushing album, starting from the production through the ripping vocal and the perfect playing skill of the guys (the complete album reminds me somehow of Kreator`s "Terrible certainty", with a pinch of aggressivity added). The rip you got here is a usual 128kbps, for you just to pre-listen (as usual) and my sincere recommendation is to buy yourself an original copy, and you can do it through the band`s myspace page (www.myspace.com/nadimacbend) or through Area Death Production label site. The original comes with a full color booklet with lyrics written in three languages.Buy or FOAD!
And here is a little treat again from our friend from Serbia, this is the first demo of one of the best bands from Serbia. The band passed through a tragedy this year (I won`t repeat it again, as respect to the band) and all I can say is that I really hope they will stand on their feet again and come out of this twice stronger. Bosko R.I.P.
Nadimac is already featured here, and this is their EP from 2008, a kind of predecessor to their new album, soon to be released by the Chinese old-school label Area Death Production. They call themselves "the Serbian Kreator" but I would rather call them just Nadimac, because they are far from Kreator in the Metal style, and they sound fresher anyway. So, let`s wait for their album!
One of the US finest, and also oldest and purest Thrash Band, and a great flashback to the beginnings of Thrash Metal. This is their first demo, the sound quality is a little low, but still listeneable.Enjoy good old school Thrash!
Let`s go on with the old school material..NA demo from 1984, a very early showdown of what this band should sound like. And it was good enough to assure them a record deal at once.Of course, essential for the old school metalheads.
I loved this band way back in the 80s, and relistening to their stuff is soooo fucking good..This is German old school Thrashin` at its best. This is the bands fourth demo (they recorded 7 demos before they released their debut album Death Squad! - at least, they released an album..), and the sound is not that bad.Actually for a demo from 1989, it Thrashes really good!!
As already told, Serbia is a country of million metal bands, but what I like the most is their Thrash Metal scene, with a lot of excellent and very talented bands. This is one of those, a band
When you see a band like this one, and a guitar like the red one (the guitars are all red, I mean the one in front..) on the pic, you have to love them at once..This is the most Classic Speed Thrash Metal stuff you can get.A very good demo with great riffing, this is the only demo they did under this name.Recommended!!
This is definitely the first Thrash Metal band with a female vocal and the now defunct Dawn Crosby did it perfectly well, before Sabina, Angela or other female extreme vocalists. This is an excellent demo and a very good quality recording for all the old school bangers!
This one is the third demo by this Dutch band (it is written II on the cover, but they actually had one never released demo between the first and the second). On this demo they improved pretty much their playing skill, and the recording is with a very good production, and very loud.Old school Thrash here!!
This is a Bosnian band which is very popular in the region, playing a kind of Thrash Metal with a strong retro feeling.I don`t like them much, the band with a vocalist who talks (he don`t sing or scream or whatever, he just talks??!!) is not a challenge, the music is excellent, and has a great production, but the vocal tears it all down. They remind me a lot to Bombarder, and you know my feelings about Bombarder, so here is almost the same.I saw them few years ago live as support to Tankard, and it was a great set, with the crowd going totally crazy..if you separate the vocal, the rest is great.
