ELUJ (Cro) - Eluj3 , cd 2008

I am very proud I can present to you now this cd,completely made by my dear friend Jule from Bolesno Grinje. He is the one man band ELUJ,you had the opportunity to find his first album "Eva.." earlier in this blog, but now I am presenting you some extremely fresh stuff, recorded very recently in Jule`s own studio. This is his third album, all instruments and everything performed by one of the most (if not the most) productive and talented guy in Pula.Raw and in-your-face Hardcore, with a pinch-just a pinch-of Metal riffings,at his best.
My sincere recommandation.

NOW:Fuck the description I wrote up here, with a repetitive listening to this album,I noticed that it is Metalized and heaviest than it first looked.Listening to the first song,I am sure you might think it is a SLAYER TUNE!!!

Try it!!

NOISE ATTACK - Cro/Slo compilation cassette 1994

I had to put this compilation here,it is one of the compilations where my Hatross showed out,and with a respectable company. The tape was compiled and released (only as cassette) from RM FILM,a small label from Zagreb known for the Kain`s Mini LP,but lasted unfortunately very short.
Here the label came out with a compilation of extreme music, from the Grindcore Noise of the first four band, all from the Patareni-factory,to the Metal of the two bands from Pula,Hatross and Dissection, and from Pula the HC-Thrash of Kriza, and finally the Slovenian Grind masters Extreme Smoke.
For the Noise lovers,a must.
PS;I didn`t even tried to split the tracks of the bands from the A-side of the cassette,I was too lazy..

PANDEMONIUM (Hol) - Wir fahren ins grune , ep 1986

This is their last ep dated 1986,surely the most chaotic and fastest stuff they did,but still in the purest Pandemonium way.Including a track that the band themselves called Horrible Rap Part.Which is very true. But the rest of the EP is mind-blowing.Of course, obligatory.

ELUJ (Cro) - Eva ti mi pomazes vise nego Bog , cd 2001

Eluj was always a person I admired for his hyperactivity in the Pula`s sceneand this hyperactivity brought to this;I m talking about Jule (read the name backwards) founder of,among others,Anti Otpad (a once very active band) and Bolesno Grinje (the now most active band from Pula). This is completely his work,he recorded all the instruments in his own studio Ja Sam Glup (it means I Am Stupid, even on a website I found that the studio-maybe for this one time-changed the name into Ja Sam Gluh-I Am Deaf). And the music here..the best he could do,perfectly played and produced straight-to-the-bone Thrashing Hardcore.Very recommended.

PS;I know I already posted this pic,but until I find another one,this is Jule..ooops,Eluj.

PANDEMONIUM (NL) - Wir fahren gegen dreck , lp 1984

Aaaaarrrrrggggghhhh...it is beautiful what can be found on the internet nowadays..I was going through my record collection few days ago,and found Pandemonium`s album and two single ep`s,and wondered will I find it somewhere..15 minutes later,I had also the mp3`s..
Pandemonium is surely one of my first love if we talk about VERY noisy Hardcore..I was in Sarajevo in 1985 (springtime,I think),and there was the announcement in the local radio that a Dutch band Pandemonium will play a gig in town, and then they put Mit Schwarzer Fahne+Demonstrate..I went fuckin` crazy!!!As I was in the army back then,I couldn`t get out every day,I think it was only on weekends, and this gig was thru the week...Man..I missed them for few kilometers and a now non-existing-anymore army..
This band is one of the first bands that played a Disorder-kind of Hardcore, just much faster..and this album is a beauty of noise.
MUST HAVE.

CONDITION CRITICAL (Cro) - rehearsal 1 1989

Another band from Pula, lasted maybe just a year, but was significant for the Thrash scene in Pula. They didn`t even recorded any demo, just few rehearsals, and maybe a live recording. All the members later continued with playing,3 out of four played later in Hatross (not contemporarly).CC were a band that played a very simple Thrash/Hardcore,and this recording is pretty fair.I have another one rehearsal, which will be uploaded very soon.I know that some metalheads from Pula will be surprised with this,so here`s a part of Pula`s history.

DISCHARGE (UK) - Hear nothing see nothing say nothing , lp 1982

The album that made me love extreme music. The band that made me love extreme music. The perfection of brutality and intensity. This is the album that EVERYONE must have. The second demo of my band Devastation was called by a title from this album. And also the biggest bands as Gaytallica,Sepultura,Machine Head covered Discharge.I dare to say that this one is extremer and faster than most of the Thrash or Hardcore albums you`ve ever heard. And we`re talking of 1982!!!!Just listen, for example,to the triplette tracks 8-9-10!!And this post is to celebrate their gig in Zagreb the 26th of October,22 days from now!!I am so excited,I can`t wait to see them.

DISCHARGE - HEAR NOTHING SEE NOTHING SAY NOTHING , lp 1982

LJUBLJANA HARD-CORE , Slovenian compilation lp 1987

This album is a jewel of the extinct ex-YU HC capital of the 80s,LJubljana,the capital town of Slovenia.5 bands are represented on this compilation,of which my favourites are the female trio TOZIBABE with a pretty harsh HC,and especially EPIDEMIJA,a total Disorder-esque Thrash chaos. As I didn`t ripped this one,I warn you that it have a variable sound quality,it seems like it was ripped partly from tape, and partly from vinyl.Anyway, for the collectors, and especially for HC fans, you will not miss this one!

GENITAL DEFORMITIES - WHO DID THIS TO MY SISTER , cd 1994

PNEUMONIA (Cro) - Fort Bourguignon ,Pula , 22.09.1988.

Yeah! This is a cult recording.Pneumonia`s first live show turned into a nightmare. You can hear it throughout the whole show, they were so drunk that the guitarist shortened every phrase or riff in every song,so they hardly catch each other all the way!But anyway,it sounded pretty cool and sounded like a hell of a show,of course a soundboard recording (with Sale from Kud Idijoti on the mix).If I say that the show starts off with the legendary Thrashing Or Die track, that is enough for you to take this show at once.

PS;the pic (the only pic of Pneumonia I`ve found!) is a caricature by an unknown thrasher,I don`t know how it founds the way to me,but it is the only pic I`ve found.
PS2;The last track Jimmy has a story;the Fort Bourguignon is a fortress, and it is built as a circle, and on the upper walls there were a homeless guy living called Jimmy (no one knew his name),who got upset with the HC played by Pneumonia,so by the end of the show he started throwing stones on the audience down.So Sale tried to calm him down through the mike.Just for the trivia part;Jimmy was found dead a month later, thrown down from the fortress walls. Here`s the pic of the Fort Bourguignon.

PNEUMONIA (Cro) - rehearsal 1988

This is a cool Hardcore band from Pula,a band that didn`t made much, but had his great moments. One of those great moment is this rehearsal, very raw hardcore, recorded from a very,VERY old tape, but preserving more or less a very good sound. They were not a serious band, with serious intentions,so this tape should be taken this way;as a tape of a band that had fun.Nothing else.Cool stuff.

This is the greatest Hardcore band ever, and if you know at least a little about HC,then you will agree with that. This is a recording done in 1984,they were the damn fastest band on the planet. The first 9 songs are released on the EP pictured here, and the following 11 tracks came from the same session. The band broke up by the end of the 80s,but they are active again, fast as always and stronger than ever.Enjoy this one and play it loud!
