What can be said, this is a blog where I will post some stuff I really like,so I think you should like it too.I am a metalhead to the heart, but I will put here every kind of stuff I like, not only Metal.I hope you will enjoy it,and let me know if there is anything needed, especially from the ex-Yugoslavia territory.
Cheers!
This is a very raw and die-hard fans item recording, a relatively bad recording of an early Carcass rehearsal, if I am not wrong it came out on a bootleg single called "The Power Of Blood".However, here it is.Some covers and two songs by early Carcass.Enjoy..
Tracks: 01.Die in pain 02.Exodus (Exodus cover) + Power from hell (Onslaught cover) + Diamonds and rust (S.O.D. cover) 03.Thrashers abbatoir
Austria was always home of good Death Metal, and this band is another DM act coming from that country. The stuff we got here is just a three track promo the band let out just before the release of their third full lenght "The World Demise". This is the first time from the beginning of this blog that you will get also a video for another song from that album, Resuscitated.Enjoy.
Tracks: 01.Blood flows on 02.Fate in line 03.Mist of persihability video: Resuscitated
Let`s go back to some bands you know better..this one is the fourth Darkthrone demo, coming from their Death Metal phase. An interesting recording, not of the highest quality, but surely a great document. And great stuff if we take the year of recording, 1989.
Let`s go with another great band from Serbia, a one that is heavily influenced by Death (the band, of course) and their most technical period, so after these words, you know you can`t go wrong. And if I add the fact that the sound production is perfect, you have a new bone to bite.
Tracks: 01.Intro (the final verdict) 02.The day after the verdict 03.Exile 04.Response
Here is another Serbian Metal band, this time a band that split-up, but left two recordings for the lovers of the extremer Metal.A very listeneable Death Metal from the beginning of the 90s, and again a very good recording. And expect a lot of Serbian demos and releases soon on Audioheaven!
Tracks: 01.Intro - Obscurity (condolence) 02.So morrid 03.Intro II 04.Far from reality 05.Odium
Here we go with some Slovenian oldschool Death Metal,Scaffold are formed in 1994 and are still active, though they have only two demos and a live recording through all 14 years of existance.Sure,it must be mentioned that they appeared also on some compilations, one of them is Stormbreed, which you can find here some posts back.Nice demo.
Tracks: 01.Evil empire-Morbid world 02.Crush the rules 03.Irritably cutting 04.Torture through thoughts 05.Wasted energy
Our friend Darko is very active and he keeps on sending me interesting Serbian bands. This one is brandnew and this is their first release,a nice oldschool Death Metal EP,with a mighty female vocal in the purest Gossow/Classen style. The production is excellent,so this might be a nice piece of Metal for your collection.
Tracks: 01.Asylum 02.Engraved memories 03.Awaiting fear 04.Defiled mind 05.Bowel`s lullaby
Usud are one of the best Death Metal bands in Croatia,as well as one of the most active. This is their CD from 2006,we already had their first cd here,so now here is the second, for those who downloaded the first.Complete your collection with this great piece.
Tracks: 01.Morning light 02.Creator`s sorcery 03.Arkay the enemy 04.Death coil 05.Black aura 06.Burning angel 07.Fortress of hate 08.Darkened room 09.Unholy crusade
Oh yeah, good oldschool Death Metal. This is the band of the first Warhead/Cenotaph drummer (of course, the Trieste Italy ones) Lorenzo. The band played for a while, they played as guests at the 8th Hatross anniversary concert, and were a pretty interesting Death Metal band (especially the bass player, hehehe). This is not a soundboard recording,so it is a recording for collectors, however very interesting.Lorenzo is now a producer and owner of a studio,Moonbeat Recording Productions (as you can see in the pic).Dedicated to my friendship with Lorenzo!
Tracks: 01.Funeral 02.Death from the altar 03.Cerebral necrosis 04.Necronomicon 05.Orchestra of death 06.Raven
Alex from Pungent Stench gave me this cd back in 1994.,it is an extremely strange but enjoyable cd,obviously his work:it has the cream of early Austrian Death Metal (of course, the godly trio Orchestra-Stench-Murmur),few industrial Metal slashers and this strange creation called 001 ZNORT 101.There is also an excellent Metal band Raydead, and the ridicolous version (or better to say:massacration) of the Nazareth`s classic romantic ballad Love Hurts, played by a project of Pungent Stench members called Los Tres Hombres (this one is a total MUST!).A cd rarity and surely worth downloading..
Tracks: FETISH 69 01.Hellville U.S.A. DISHARMONIC ORCHESTRA 02.Idiosyncracy GOTHMOG 03.Mass extinction LOS TRES HOMBRES 04.Love hurts (live) DISASTROUS MURMUR 05.Into the dungeon RAYDEAD 06.Never trust a clear blue sky PUNGENT STENCH 07.The ballad of mangled homeboys 001 ZNORT 101 08.Line up to hide GOTHMOG 09.Rawhead Rex DISASTROUS MURMUR 10.Satisfaction (in the morgue) 001 ZNORT 101 11.Gorem em bra
Here`s a small demo as a reminder of a great band, vanished in history..Yeah,I know, you will say "But they played last year at Wacken"..well,these are only remains of the true Possessed..This demo is also kind of remains,as the only original member here is Mike Torrao.Possessed here is pretty violent, returning to the very beginning. Not a full quality sounding demo, but very listeneable.
Here`s a fine rare EP by the legendary Stenches I have found on the net. These three tracks are obviously from the "Been caught buttering" recording session, only the last found place on the album, while the other two tracks are tracks you can find on compilations, but here they are all together here on this EP.Extreme as they were back then..I am very nostalgic about those times,so I recommend you this rare one.
Tracks: 01.Daddy cruel 02.The ballad of mangled homeboys 03.Splatterday night fever
I had to put this compilation here,it is one of the compilations where my Hatross showed out,and with a respectable company. The tape was compiled and released (only as cassette) from RM FILM,a small label from Zagreb known for the Kain`s Mini LP,but lasted unfortunately very short. Here the label came out with a compilation of extreme music, from the Grindcore Noise of the first four band, all from the Patareni-factory,to the Metal of the two bands from Pula,Hatross and Dissection, and from Pula the HC-Thrash of Kriza, and finally the Slovenian Grind masters Extreme Smoke. For the Noise lovers,a must. PS;I didn`t even tried to split the tracks of the bands from the A-side of the cassette,I was too lazy..

Aaaaarrrrghhh!!This single killlllssss!I don`t even remember when I got it,but surely it is a nice piece of vinyl. The material you got here is a vinyl rip, done not extremely well, but I am not that sure if you can get a much better sound in any way.DM kills with their downtuned sound. And their creeping Death Metal.I adore this one. PS;the video is not a track from this single, the single sounds more killer!
I do not have any info about the band, but this is very good stuff. The band that hailed from Pozega recorded few demos, the last in 1997, and then split-up.I got this live recording from my friend Mika, and I thank him a lot, this is great material and sure something to witness if not the most quantitative, then the surely most qualitative period of Croatian Metal.6 tracks in all, no track list, sorry.
I think Chuck`s death was the most shocking death in the world of Metal after the Cliff Burton`s one..the tribute Chuck made to Metal is immense,it is unmeasurable, and I won`t spend a lot of words about it.Instead,as the anniversary of Chuck`s death is coming (December 13th),I am putting here this compilation I made in 2001,just few days after his death, and aired as a special edition of my radio-Metal-show "Scream".This is my tribute to his work, and you will find here tracks from the demos to the last live album. Rest in peace, you genius.
Tracks; 01.Corpse grinder (demo) 02.Summoned to die (demo) 03.Infernal death (demo) 04.Baptized in blood (demo) 05.Evil dead 06.Pull the plug 07.Altering the future 08.Defensive personality 09.Lack of comprehension 10.Overactive imagination 11.Jealousy 12.1000 eyes 13.Scavenger of human sorrow 14.Painkiller 15.Zombie ritual (live) 16.Suicide machine (live)
On the site of this band (actually,on the intro-page,the site is non existant) is written Black Metal..I don`t agree, maybe lyrically they might be BM,but musically this is a strong Death Metal with great melodies. This one is a two tracker with three bonus live tracks,so if you ever wondered how this band sounds live, there you go.
These guys are from the town I live in,Varazdin, and they are probably the best Death Metal band coming from Croatia at the moment.A cover made very carefully and a sound made very carefully too.CG plays an old school Death Metal, and the only bad point in it all is the drum machine..but I can`t wait to hear the new recordings made with Pero on drums,as I played with him for 2 years in the Varazdin`s drumline Rudiment (where he still plays).I am sure that CG will sound way more powerful with the real drums. They already do.Highly recommended.
Tracks; 01.Intro 02.Abnormal sexual tendency 03.Carnal slavery 04.Extreme+Svalowing earth 05.Sinful convent 06.Oscillations 07.Outromezzo-intermezzo 08.Really morbid perversion 09.When a blind man feels the waves
This is weird stuff. This is one of those bands, you love them or you hate them.I haven`t spent a lot of time with this, but from what I heard, seems like interesting good music with lyrics on Serbian. And the lyrics..oh,the lyrics are another story..funny for the ones who understand the language, meaningless to the ones who don`t..If you collect ex-YU territory`s Metal.. PS;and oh yeah,I found on some places written that the tape is released in the year 2002,so if you care..I don`t.
Tracks; 01.U obdukcionoj sali 02.Ucitelj oto-a 03.Drobicu ti kicmu 04.Sta trazi ovo oko bako 05.Zasto ne moze edb u ptt 06.Mika upao u samotnu pec 07.Panonski govnar
This is one of the best Bosnian Metal bands, still active, and this is their first release,a demo recording on cd.Technically skillful Metal here.Soon I will post the rest of their stuff.Enjoy!
Tracks; 01.The chosen one 02.Lies 03.Edge of razor 04.Devouring 05.Violent breed 06.Abandoned 07.Life 08.Morbid Kaltack
This is a very raw and die-hard fans item recording, a relatively bad recording of an early Carcass rehearsal, if I am not wrong it came out on a bootleg single called "The Power Of Blood".However, here it is.Some covers and two songs by early Carcass.Enjoy..
