ORMUS (BiH) - Transmission , cd 2010

Excellent Thrash Death Metal from Bosnia and Herzegovina. They got a female vocalist you won`t believe your ears, and you wouldn`t surely like for your wife. Just kidding, of course (only the thing about the wife). Surely an item to have in your collection.

SCAFFOLD (Ser) - The Other Side Of Reality, cd 1994

We played this summer with this band, a band that left a very strong impression on my band, I hope we will be soon able to play some gigs together in Croatia, as well as in Serbia, where they come from. What we got here is old school Death Metal, the first one which was balancing between Death and Thrash. The material is dated 1994, the band still goes strong, and released new material last year, so you will have some new stuff here very soon. Meanwhile, enjoy this one !

SCAFFOLD - THE OTHER SIDE OF REALITY , CD 1994

SLAUGHTER LORD (Australia) - Thrash till death 86-87, cd 1998

Here is a cool old-school Thrash Metal band, and by that I mean a band that played in the 80s and played that old fashioned Thrash Metal which is back now, more than two decades after. This is a compilation of stuff the band recorded in 1986 and 1987, so, for the oldskool Thrashers, something to get at once.

03.Die by power
04.Taste of blood
05.Legion
06.Slaughtered corpse

ORION (Mak) - Execration behind the walls , demo 1992

This is a great demo I got from this blog`s friend Tasko from Macedonia. This band is dead for a long time now, but that doesn`t mean their work is not still alive. This is a demo of greatly produced Deathrash Metal, comparable somehow to Morbid Angel..Thanx Tasko for this one!!

03.Execration behind the walls
04.Convinced through the ages
05.Step to immortality

ORION - EXECRATION BEHIND THE WALLS ,DEMO 1992

AJDATH (Jor/Pol) - Triangle of death , cd 2006

This is a recording I got directly from the band a long time ago, and finally here they are. This band is originally from Jordan, but now living/working in Gdansk, Poland. Let me cite you this "Omar Al Kilani (guitar, vocal) has moved to Poland because he was unhappy about the level of musicianship in his native country, and because he and other metal-musicians were being persecuted in his native country." Now you tell me is there anything more than this to the phrase "Live for Metal"? No, there isn`t.Here is their last work, a cd of Thrash/Death Metal played very fairly!

Tracks:
01.Triangle of death
02.Wrath of Babel
03.Intifada
04.No war no peace
05.Before the war (instrumental)
06.The perfect race

AJDATH - TRIANGLE OF DEATH , CD 2006

NECROPHOBIA (Ser) - Impotence by sickness , demo 1992

It is now time to hear it from a Serbian band who lasted just one demo, a really good work, despite the not that excellent copy I have here. But this demo is definitely worth having, excellent Thrash/Death Metal from the beginning of the 90s.

Tracks:
01.Clinical testimony
02.Impotence by sickness
03.Pathetic end
04.Syndrome
05.Imaginary slaves
06.Metamorphoze by disaster

NECROPHOBIA - IMPOTENCE BY SICKNESS , DEMO 1992

XENOPHOBIA (Slo) - Signs of mental decay , ep 1991

Very technical Thrash Metal deep into Death Metal from this Slovenian band. This is their third work before they split-up.Unlike other bands, in this recording they use saxophone, keyboards and female vocals, so anyway something slightly different this way comes..

Tracks:
01.Dregs of mankind
02.Money over mind
03.Addicted to chemically II
04.Caught in eternity
05.Signs of mental decay

XENOPHOBIA - SIGNS OF MENTAL DECAY , EP 1991

SADISMO (BiH) - Nihilist , demo 1991

Let`s continue with Mel`s stuff sent to me.In 1991,just before the war,Sadismo (somewhere mispelled Sadizmo) and recorded this demo in December of 1991.The music here is more early Death Metal stuff with a lot of Thrash influences,on a very raw recording. All that remains of this band is this demo, and oh yeah, the bassist went to play in Bombarder after the split.

Tracks:
01.Intro
02.Mucitelj
03.Rat
04.untitled
05.Pakao

SADISMO - NIHILIST , DEMO 1991

NAREDNIK LOBANJA I VOD SMRTI (Cro) - Pucaj da ubijes , demo 2007

Here`s for you some nice ultraheavy stuff,a great recording. This demo is obviously a compilation of three tracks recorded in different sessions,as it can be heard from the different productions or sounds. It is a Thrash/Death project, pretty heavy and definitely veeery moshable.Cool stuff.

Tracks:
01.Narednik Lobanja i vod smrti (Usmrtnuce)
02.Mars smrti
03.Maximum napalm

NAREDNIK LOBANJA I VOD SMRTI - PUCAJ DA UBIJES , DEMO 2007

SARCOMMAN (Ser) - Single , demo CD 2006

With this post,I invite you to welcome Darko, our new contributor from Sid,Serbia. He will help me a lot with less known bands from Serbia,a country for which I told you that is full of Metal bands. We start with this excellent and interesting Thrash/Death Metal band Sarcomman, and with their EP from 2006 (somewhere is written 2007)..What can I say;excellent Metal balancing between Thrash and Death.A three tracker you should have.

Tracks:
01.Almost dead inside
02.Humandefect
03.Addicted to all

SARCOMMAN - SINGLE , DEMO CD 2006

BLOODBATH (Ser) - Traumatic memories , lp 1991

There was already one post about those Serbian thrashers, their highly acclaimed first mini-LP Toxic Death. This is their first full length album, and is pretty much a change from the mini-LP.Here they have a cleaner production, yet strange, and they added keyboards.A step forward anyway. For fans of Technical Death/Thrash Metal.

Tracks:
01.Traumatic memories
02.Pathological alternative
03.Monstruous childhood
04.Brutal reality
05.Psychopatic mind

09.Brutal reality (re-mix)

BLOODBATH - TRAUMATIC MEMORIES , LP 1991

BLOODBATH (Ser) - Toxic death , mlp 1990

Thrash Metal to the extreme, beginings of the mixing of Thrash and Death Metal. This mini lp came out only as a vinyl. I like this mini-lp, even the sound is too chaotic and dirty, and it surely must be told that the band is pretty skillful. And it is 1991, 16 years ago..

Tracks;
01.Toxic death
02.Suicidal future
03.Nuclear execution
04.Bloodbath
05.Sadistic necrophiliac
06.Empire of hate

BLOODBATH - TOXIC DEATH , MLP 1990

ARISSE (Cro) - Live in Rijeka,Croatia 1992

Arisse came from Rijeka and were a band that didn`t lasted very long, they released two demos, one in English and one in Croatian. They play pretty primitive Thrash Metal, and this one is a great soundboard live recording I found on a cassette, along with the Kain live performance. And until now everything is fine.I have found out that the band had some very bad fascination for Nazism (prove me wrong, please!),as in the first song from this recording have the vocalist shouting Sieg Heil, and the two letters S in the name probably means the same.If it was for me,I would not put a shit like that on this blog. But there are two reasons I did.The first (less important) is;if satanic bands can be here,so bands like this can-for me it is same shit other cover. But the second, more important is;it was your request, and you know what are your requests for me...

Tracks;
01-Track 1
02-Track 2
03-Track 3
04-Track 4 (incomplete)

ARISSE - LIVE IN RIJEKA,CROATIA 1992

DEATH (U.S.A.) - Infernal death , demo 1985

As we are getting close to the 6th anniversary of Chuck`s death (ok,it is an unintentional game of words) , I am posting here one of the greatest demos I have ever heard.Death haven`t had enough money to mix this demo,so it was released unmixed and raw,but for my opinion, even this way it came out perfectly. This is A MUST.

Tracks;
01.Infernal death
02.Baptized in blood
03.Arch angel

DEATH - INFERNAL DEATH , DEMO 1985

SEXTON (Cro) - Powerfest , Pula , 01. May 1993.

Pula`s veterans Sexton are already featured here with their only demo "Fade out",and here is their live performance from the Powerfest in Pula,a Metal festival that didn`t succeeded in becoming traditional. But the only edition was really a great festival..well,this is Sexton`s performance from this festival,a great soundboard recording, and I am sorry if I don`t know all the titles of the songs, but I hope this one will catch your attention anyway.

Tracks;
01.unknown track(s)
02.My flesh divine
03.In the fog (incomplete)

SEXTON - POWERFEST , PULA , 01. MAY 1993.

WAR-HEAD (Cro) - Demo 2004

For the collectors of Croatian Metal stuff, here is War-Head (a good move to divide this two words,as there are/were 2674 bands in the world named Warhead) from Osijek, playing a great-produced Thrash-Death Metal. Here is their only release by now, expanded with two bonus tracks. On their site they say that they are working on the album,so let`s hope there won`t be three more years to wait...

Tracks;
01.War-head
02.Reanimated loss
03.Away from myself
04.Circle of emptiness
05.Ego art deceptress
06.Circle of emptiness (promo 2003)
07.Reanimated loss (promo 2003)

WAR-HEAD - DEMO 2004

HATROSS (Cro) - Pauk , Zagreb , 22. January 1993

This one is probably my favourite Hatross live recording;made in Zagreb,at the Histeria Party at the Pauk hall, the 22. January 1993.At the mixing desk we had Vedran Bozic,a Croatian rock legend (he played even with J.Hendrix, got it?) which made for us the strongest sound we ever had.Even with hard problems with the guitars, the amps, cables and effects, and without completing the lyrics for Sickman,we played one of the most explosive show in our carreer. The crowd were fucking crazy,I gave myself emotionally so much in that show that as I got off the stage,I got a very high fever.Anyway,I was very honoured when I went to the mixing desk to take the cassette with the recording,mr.Bozic shook my hand and said "It was incredible!Congratulation!"..what more can you ask from life? Those little things make life beautiful..Enjoy this one,I dedicate this one to all of you.

Tracks;
01.Sickman
02.Suicide+Pain
03.A look at tomorrow
04.Napalm fields
05.Self destruction
06.Intro+Bigmouths sucks+Queen of death

HATROSS - PAUK , ZAGREB , 22. JANUARY 1993

SEXTON (Cro) - Fade out , cassette 1992

Another fine product from the Pula Thrash/Death scene.Sexton was a band that existed five-six years from the beginning of the nineties, until they drowned into some sleazy metal shit. This is Sexton`s official album-cassette released in 1992 by Bonaca Records (an independent record label ran by KUD Idijoti),it is a great downtuned oldschool Death Metal.Such a shame the band went downhill after few years..

Tracks;
01.Nefarious
02.Behind the bars
03.The cold war
04.In the fog
05.My flesh divine
06.Darkened windows
07.Mirror of reality
08.Delusion

SEXTON - FADE OUT , CASSETTE 1992

HATROSS (Cro) - Rakalj , 02. January 1993.

I thought should I put some Hatross live shows here,as there were few requests for them. Those recordings were exclusively for personal use and I never tought they will be put on the net. But,then again, what the hell..So here it is the first of few gigs, all soundboard recordings and with not a minimal remaking in sound.with all the mistakes we made during the show. This one was played still in half-drunk state after the new year parties, and in a place where the temperature was at least -10°c.The floor in the toilet was covered with a few centimeters thick layer of fucking ICE(God knows of what that ice was made of..not surely only water..).And in the hall where the stage was, there was a tree-furnace to make the place at least a little less cold.So we haven`t got the need for smoke effects..Ok,I think it is a nice recording,if you like Hatross, this one`s for you.

PS;This guy by the mike is the Blockade Runners singer Tomo, who joined us on stage on one song.

Tracks;
01.Intro+Bigmouths sucks
02.Suicide
03.Pain
04.A look at tomorrow
05.Dead end
06.Napalm fields
07.Self destruction

HATROSS - RAKALJ, 02. JANUARY 1993.

WARHEAD (Ita) - demo 1990

Ok,we`re going back to the very beginning of the carreer of my friends from Trieste,Italy. This is the first demo of the band that will be later called Cenotaph, then Necrosphere, then today Fuel From Hell.Max (bass) told me to destroy my copy of the cassette, but man,I can`t help myself, this is good stuff, and I have to put it here!

01.Swords of Damocles
02.Cross-culted chameleons
03.God`s grave
04. ...and beyond
05.Depths of decadence
